Ever screw up so bad that every other decision you make just makes it worse?

All my own damn fault. I am so mad at myself right now ... BAH

Oh LOL - if you only knew.

I screwed up so bad a few years back that I'm still so deep in catch 22 that it's hard to keep any impetus for getting out of it.

      That, sucks.

When I screw up because I did not know any better ... O well, live and learn.

When I do it like I did this time ... I get so mad at myself and unfortunately I stay
mad for a while. I am probably going to be mad for a week ... and then
get mad ever time I am reminded ...

Sometimes it is not a blessing to truly know thyself .... lol

I went through a tough spell last winter. I was telling a friend about all the problems I was having and he commented on how bad it all was. I said that's not even the worst. The worst is it's all my fault

Yep. That's where it hurts me, too. At least I've been able to turn part of the lemons into lemonade or I'd still be screaming at myself for being a complete idiot.

I found through extensive research during my twenties and early thirties that this phenomenon is greatly exacerbated by Scotch.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

And yet, everyone who knew you in your twenties and thirties, would tell you that the fact that you had Scotch, is the only reason they hung out with you.

My old German grandmother used to tell me when I goofed up - "Well, you thought it was the right thing to do at the moment, . . . or you wouldn't have done it" She sure was right, but my hindsight is still 20-20!

My old German grandmother would patiently listen to me complain and then promptly smack me upside the head.

That explains why you insist that your dominatrix speaks with a German accent.

    "This too shall pass".

    Ken,

Don't plan on getting mad at yourself and for how long.
At some point it makes sense to stop beating a dead horse.

The other day I was thinking about a post where you said if
you something about how if you can't read people, trust your gut,
then you should not be in business.

Well, I just met someone a few months ago who made a very favorable impression.
Boy, was I really wrong. I was using Google to find a Facebook page to look at some
event marketing work she's doing. The highest thing on the Google page is a new Ripoff Report
about her that seems credible. Turns out this nice person is an escort and does adult films
and did something really gross and criminal to another individual in that regard. Bleah.

Would never have guessed she has that other life and I guess I dodged a bullet.

Hmm - sorry, can't relate. This stuff NEVER happens to me.

      (Yeah, right. Hang in there.)
