...then you have a dilemma on your hands.

A report on CNN claims that every time someone reads an article on the Internet, that person emits several thousand milligrams of CO2 into the atmosphere (link below).

That's right: 1 article read by 1 person 1 time = 1,000+ mg of CO2 released into the atmosphere. How much are you contributing to global warming?

Who knew Steven Wagenheim was one of the world's leading contributors of global warming?

So, if you are an article marketer and you believe in global warming, this must be devastating news. If so, what will you do:

A) Immediately cease all article marketing efforts because you want to do your part in saving our planet.

B) Make like Al Gore and DEMAND that all article marketers immediately stop their efforts because our planet is in dire condition and in the meantime you continue writing and distributing articles.

C) Quietly continue article marketing hoping that this story "got it wrong" and one day it will be proven that you did not contribute to global warming by using this marketing technique.

I would think there is much more to be taken into account. For example, some articles are so silly that I often roll on the floor in laughter, thereby emitting 100 times that amount or more from just one article. If I am drinking a beer or eating while reading an engrossing article from any source, emissions may often exceed several grams of particulate ejection and methane gas in addition to CO2. Eating and reading at the same time can be a source of not just global warming, but also may be a significant portion of overall global pollution.

Cut down a tree - one fewer tree to absorb C020. Process the wood into paper - fuel used, chemicals spewed into our air, water, and land. Send paper to printing presses - fuel used, more toxins in the air, in the water - Ink gets on your hands, paper put in trash - Ink gets into land, water. Or paper gets burned - air pollution. Or it is recycled - more processing chemicals and fuel used.

Thanks - I think I'll stick with cyberspace.

so in order for us to combat that, we must all take our responsibillity and cover our rooftops with solar panels to have at least twice the amount of electricity we need for our selves

that way we'll be giving electricity back to the energy companies and they in turn can lower the production of their energy plants, thus lowering co2 etc

then what's left is finding a way to make every car run on electricity, again solar panels in the roof and hood 'n trunk of the car 'n sides or w/e and when you're out of power, just wait lol

hah sometimes I think we humans have egos way to big to be any good, one HUGE planet vs a few billion people... If the planet ain't happy, she'll just throw a few disasters our way, as a way of saying "it's getting too crowded over there!"

    lol

if only everybody did what they where supposed to do ....
