If you are into this show, you will love this, enjoy!

Notice the full size Space 1999 ship, pretty cool!

And this if you want to buy the model. Not an affiliate link or my own link by the way!

Moebius Models Jupiter 2 MOE913 | eBay

I wouldn't pay $100 for this but found it interesting!

Funny thing about the jupiter two is the lower deck was too small it fit people, well without them crouching, and the Atomic or engine room forget it.

It seems that the lower deck, etc borrowed some Tardis space creating science.

But as they said if you are a kid, then it is still a cool ship!

GEE, they didn't mention "Mr. Smith", though he was pictured as part of "THE FAMILY"! He was the trouble maker scardy-cat that caused all the problems!

It IS amazing how, at least as a little kid, you don't notice or care about the ship changes. Of course, it is BOUND to change to a degree with all the repairs that must be done.

    Thanks for the trip though.

Yes, when l was a kid watching this, l did think, how can the lower deck be so spacious, especially when Doctor Smith went nuts and ended up in the engine room.

The engine room seems very spacious considering, especially when there must be a shower, etc somewhere, and room for the escape pod and Chariot, (well chariot pieces).

But as said before it was and still is a cool ship, so who cares!

Yes, Doctor Smith wasn't in the unaired pilot episode, and frankly it was boring without him!

Well him and the robot, that showed up in the second episode!

I am slowly watching them again, and Dr Smith is shown to be a blood thirsty sociopath, that wants to kill of the entire crew, except for Don west, which he needed to pilot the ship, back to Earth!

Apparently Will and others soften him up over time, well a little?
Penny is still hot by the way!

Just a minor correction. The un-aired pilot was re-shot and the first episode of Lost In Space, actually shown on TV, did have Dr. Smith on it.

Not only that, but the music was redone as well by a gentleman by the name of Johnny Williams who went on to become the legendary John Williams.

Angela Cartwright (Penny) was born in Altrincham, Cheshire, England. British! Now 62. Still Hot?

I think you must be thinking of the blond one, Judy

True, the first pilot episode, without Doctor Smith and the robot, was cut up and pieces of it used again in the next episode, and maybe the next one, (haven't watched it yet).

Irwin Allen obviously had a much bigger budget for this one, than the Time Tunnel, that used the same water, beach set over and over, and only started to do real outside elaborate sets in the last few episodes.

          Although the last episode sucked!

And yes l have seen the remake, unfortunately! Groan, very few remakes stack up to the originals!

No, you have a point there she looked good in the thumbnail image, but up close, naaaaarrrrrrhhhhh!

Much better looking in the later episodes,...couldn't be easy with the only available man taken by Judy!

Oh, well she did have that silly Bloop thing, if a dumb monkey is good enough for Justin Bieber, then it works a guess?

Well, when we were younger, I REALLY liked angela, and she still looks good for her age. But YEAH. Marta(aka JUDY) probably looks better now, though she IS younger also.

Fun fact (aka useless trivia): Angela and actress Veronica Cartwright are sisters. Veronica has quite a nice resume herself, and was originally cast as Ripley in Alien. She was bumped to the role of Lambert when Sigourney Weaver joined the project.

If I'm not mistaken, there was actually a third (very bottom) level of the Jupiter 2 in the season 3 episode, Space Creature. I think it was only ever shown or mentioned in this episode.

Oh, well, as long as Penny is in each episode, who cares!
