        I'm in the UK and to get the US version of Google as default (instead of the UK version), I set http://www.google.com/ncr as my homepage (using "ncr" sets a "no country redirect" cookie). Perhaps somehow a Google DE cookie has been set in those 3 browsers (for whatever reason), if so the DE cookie should be able to be overwritten by visiting the link above.

          Understand it or not the url Google pulled me back into English. What I still do not understand is that I just reaffirmed my old settings---saved-- and page corrected itself.

          Ah what a wonderful world we live in!!

          thanks Paul

            So for one reason or another the German language cookie was set on your homepage. There are two easy ways to fix this issue, one delete out all of your old cookies and when you next load your homepage it should be in English again, or do exactly as you have already done and adjust your settings.

    I am puzzled with the fact that,
    the account on three pc's changed and you used one pc to corrected the problem on all three.
    This is what happened? Yes?
    If so, i would investigate the Google account to be the trouble.

    The Main Internet Marketing Discussion Forum has a interesting thread going at;

    I would recommend reading this tread as it could be some answers for what had happened.
    (A lot of other good tips tipping in there also. Go there).

    Hope this helps. Paul'y.

      Yeah, a couple months ago I had the same problem with google except my homepage was coming up in spanish. It was strange. I had to manually type in the url and reset my homepage for it to stop. It was still strange though. Why would it just start doing that?
