Okay, Twitter is FREAKING ME OUT

I just went to check my Twitter account and it says I have 39,464 followers.

This morning I had about 20,000.

Now, I know I am awesome, fascinating, and irresistible, and all that...but seriously....more then nineteen thousand followers in ONE DAY???? No way.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Also - I checked my email. I get notified every time there is a new follower. I don't have 19,000 emails. Thank God.

    And now it's back to normal. That was a glorious ten minutes or so.

    I wonder if something weird is going on with Twitter today.

      Well, you could come out with a course about getting 20,000 followers in just minutes, and I'm sure there are people who would think that would be 'wise' or 'smart' or 'ethical', but we all know you're not the type of person to do that.

      Still, "20000followersgoober.com" should rank well for that keyphrase.

        Damn - and to think I didn't take a before and after screenshot during the few minutes Twitter added all those followers!

        Heck, who am I kidding - I'll just do like all the other fraudsters do with their inflated paypal earnings pages, and photoshop my Twitter home page follower number.

    Thats hectic. And imagine getting 19000 notification e-mails in a day! Maybe I should create a separate e-mail address for Twitter just in case! Lol

    well, i do wish i have that much follower. Although i'm basically contented with my almost 1700 followers. the downside is, it is so hard to keep up with all of them. most especially when they talk you at the same. C",)
