Excellent video ~ thanks for posting it here. I was shocked when I recognized the city as being Barcelona. I was there way back in the eighties at at the end of the video I learned that this was taken in Barcelona.

I just assumed whenever anyone talked about gentle inclinations in here they had to have at least fleeting thoughts of me.

what does the sign say? I don't understand, does it say hug me?

Was the experiment to see if people would or if they would do something else?

If do something else it wasn't really an experiment.

On brain games they put a booth with a big sign, FREE MONEY, when the person was standing there, people wouldn't take it, when no one was looking, some took it, when it had a picture of eyes, people didn't do it, they then explained why.

They also had one where people had a choice of splitting cash with a stranger or keeping it the majority chose to split the cash with a complete stranger.
I must be missing something here. Nice way to show kindness but I don't understand the experiment part. ::confused::

Well, I think someone mistranslated! I smile, give directions, etc... to people I don't even know! I used to trust people to a relatively limited degree, before they earned my trust, but NOW I don't even trust them THAT far! WHY? Because too many VIOLATED my trust.

As for sharing my food? It depends what you mean. I was once called a jerk because I didn't let a woman, that I did NOT know well anyway, eat off my plate, which I let NOBODY do! I even offered to BUY her food before she called me a jerk! I haven't donated clothes, but that is because I generally use mine till they are in tatters, and then use them as cloths. I haven't told anyone they were "beautiful", but I have given GOBS of encouragement. As for the other stuff? Holding a door open, helping in all sorts of ways, giving limited shelter, etc....? I have done that for STRANGERS! It doesn't mean I trust them. Of course if they earn my DIStrust, all that STOPS! But that takes some effort. My DIStrust means that they in some way seek to unjustly hurt me, or others, and take advantage.
