I went out and sang my heart out at a karaoke bar last night - everyone was singing cheesy love songs but we all had a blast -
meanwhile outside yet another snow storm raged on and today it's friggin cold here -
-20°C Feels like -33

We went shopping for a new kitchen table as my old one, as nice as it is, seats 16 and was too large for the new downsized house.

After we got the table loaded in the truck, we went to a nice steakhouse for dinner and there was my best friend and her husband waiting for us. That was a nice surprise.

After dinner, we came back home and when I came downstairs after changing, he had the new table set up with a bouquet of flowers, a box of my favorite chocolates, a bottle of champagne and a gift box which contained a pink sparkly heart necklace and matching earrings.

It was nice, even though it wasn't the new puppy I wanted...

I guess I still have some more sweet talking to do.

Here is what l did the day after the massacre, he, he!

Got a nice caramel and macadamia cheesecake, and a coffee!

I don't particularly like Val, day, but have learned that we can come back from anything.

Certainly on the night l drove back from the airport after waiting for 3 hours, and after realizing l had been scammed, hitting a tree seemed like a pretty good idea, but months later after slowly, but surely getting a handle on my Card, it was a dumb idea!
