Don't try to explain yourself to stupid people...

All depends on how you define stupid. The term is defined as lacking intellect, or, common sense. I think every person fits that. no one knows everything. Therefore all lack intellect and understanding.

I guarantee you not one person is stupid on earth. Some can do things you could never dream of doing. Every person in earth has a mind even those written off. Even those most handicapped people have abilities. Sure they may not be able to form thoughts like some but they can do things that others can't. They may not fit your idea of smart but you don't fit theirs either
your thoughts of yourself being some intellectual superior is proof of why you simply have to resort to calling people stupid to begin with. Which is stupid. LOL

Here's a better question. If you couldn't take the time to help someone understand what it is you were explaining to them. Who is stupid? You or them? People don't lack intelligence even the most mentally challenged people have skills and abilities you do not.
Sociopathology, and Narcissism is a cloak worn by people who look at others and make themselves feel superior. Even though none of us is superior than another. everyone has the same blood color, same respiratory system, same digestive system same reproductive system, 5 senses eyes ears mouth nose, none is superior to another. no. not one.

unless they have a physical issue in which they may not have properly functioning ones, but that doesn't reflect their mental intellect.
My definition of stupid is failure to see the potential in all people.

One person looks at a bird and develops a flying machine, another looks at the same bird and sees a bird. does that mean the one who didn't see the machine design is inferior to the one who developed?

No. Do you know how many geniuses in the world didn't even graduate high school?

You don't seem to understand that stupid is a word that applies to hardly anyone at all. Some people need to be challenged and they do things that interest them. you know like develop a car. A propeller. a theory, whatever.
Einstein, Shakespeare, Lincoln, Edison And many more who made constant and long lasting contributions to the world. All had a mental issue. A disability. Would you say they were stupid>? . Because you couldn't grasp their minds would they think you were stupid?

I think they would not think you were stupid but understand they are far more superior in their knowledge and consider how they can relate it. I think that is pretty evident.
Do you know for instance how Edison arrived at the incandescent light? How many times he failed before getting it? he knew exactly what he wanted. he had all the knowledge needed. It still took him a very long time. Does that mean he was stupid because he failed? Of course during that time he created the dictaphone thing and some other cool stuff. Every person of intelligence in the higher bracket, understands they have to be able to relate to people because that is the one thing that it very hard for them to do.

Maybe it is not the person being explained to but the person explaining that is stupid, after all a super smarty would be able to relay their knowledge in a way people could understand, maybe even use picture stories, parables, so they could understand. No one is stupid everyone has potential.The very fact you would consider one stupid shows you yourself lack an ability to express yourself so people can understand..Otherwise you would have an ability to relate not think yourself something you most certainly are not and that is superior. The man who thinks himself wise proves himself a fool.
