Just watched a movie - I'd forgotten all about this song!

I just watched a movie I hadn't seen before - "Sea of Love", with Al Pacino and Ellen Barkin.

This song was a recurring theme throughout the movie - all the way through I was trying to remember who sang it (It was my namesake Phil Phillips!)


Brought back many happy memories of slow dancing with a girl in a pink frock, and playing this over and over again on the juke box.

Would the rap generation even know what a jukebox was?

    I was thinking Philip Phillips the recent American Idol winner.


    I though, "Phil Phillips (1990) wasn't even born when Sea of Love (1989) came out".
