People are weird and their Facebook Posts prove it

I have this one particular facebook account I use to test out ideas. I've added a bunch of random people, and almost always accept friend requests.

Every once in a while I actually scroll down the newsfeed just to see what people are posting. Oh dear God. Sometimes I can't believe these people. It's like Facebook is their outlet for all their weird stuff.

Then when I switch back to my real personal facebook account, it looks so different by comparison. I used to think my real friends were weird at times, but now I know they are perfectly normal, and even wholesome by comparison.

I guess, that's what you get when you add a bunch of random people. A whole lot of weird randomness.

I know it's just a testing of ideas, but each individual is subject to their own quirkiness... It's like, "welcome to their world."

So far, what have YOU found out? Care to share?

Most random people don't seem to think much about the stuff they post. If it gives them a laugh or pushes their hot button, then they post.

For marketing purposes, I do see a decline in the amount of 'viral sharing' that we marketers love to create. I think the average person is getting a little bored with that, kinda like forwarding emails grew tiring 10 years ago.

However, it seems most people do more selfies, repost blogs they agree with, quote memes, and videos they like. Those are still shared virally.

You should see some of my posts.
Facebook even threatened me with a permanent ban which made me cool off a bit.

You are dealing with people who have nothing better to do than post randomly in random FB accts. Think about that. What "normal" person has that kind of time or interest?

      Good example above.

      Imagine life without Facebook.
I have one of those - it's called "real life" and quite interesting actually.

I have a wide collection of people there because if we have several friends in common I approve the friends list - but those I actually pay attention to are high school friends and rockhounds and people from here.
