Some clown in Boston will ship you a bottle of snow anywhere in the US for $89.

Let the "Great Idea" remarks of admiration for his marketing genius, begin.

Hmmm, next time if we ever get to go to the beach again, I'm bottling the air and offering it for sale. Might even bring a higher price if it was compressed in a tank. Someone in China might buy it.

Sorry. Both air and sand have already been done. Check Google. You'll find them.

This reminds me of when Mt. Saint Helens erupted years ago. I was in Portland that afternoon and still remember seeing the huge plume of ash and smoke above the mountain in the distance, which was actually pretty amazing. Even though I was many miles away, my car (and everything in a pretty large radius) had a thin coating of grayish ash all over it.

Some people bottled and sold the volcanic ash for the next few weeks. I always thought it a bit weird that anyone would actually buy it, but to each his own. Perhaps I should have gently scraped it off my car and sold it... At least it wouldn't have melted, like the snow from Boston!

And for an extra 10 dollars you can have yellow snow. It's only a wee bottle though.

HECK, I would buy it, IF he ships it to Arizona or vannuys, in summer, in non airconditioned vehicles, and no special packaging, along with information about how I can ship it to some family in Wisconsin.

NOTE, if it isn't snow, it's a deal breaker! I will scream damaged in shipment! Since this IS so valuable to me, I want him to insure it for $1000!

You can have your package insured, Steve. The only catch is that the buyer normally pays for it.

He can take it out of the $98, though I am betting I can collect.

I don't have a problem with someone trying to sell snow. It's the people that buy the snow that I have a problem with.
