Jason Larke is a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) electrical contractor in remote Queensland, which sees him work away from home in four-week blocks. He was expecting to miss the birth of his third child with wife Alison on Feb. 20, until Samsung asked him to be part of an experiment.
This is nothing short of awesome!

Okay - now that really was awesome. I don't like the idea of technology like this - but that was still pretty kewl.

Joe, that was just plain awesome. I had no idea this kind of technology even existed. Of course my wife doesn't take me into the public very often. LOL

A small step in technology, a giant leap for men, fathers who cannot be there for the birth of their children!

That is totally freakin' awesome, and wonderful, magnificent, and amazing all rolled into one!

Yeah, this was nice. I don't know if it is TRULY the first VR, etc... They DO have robots that are virtually VR, and cover such great distances. I'm sure SOME father somewhere has used the technology. And SAMSUNG is apparently a Johnny come lately in this industry.
