Text Twist and Bejewelled are my favorite games whenever I feel the need to stand back from all the stress of work and just let my mind wander off to words and building combinations of gems. Sims can be real cute too but Capitalism is one way of inspiring you to make more money again! I also like First Person Shooter games like Counterstrike and Strategic Games like Warcraft, Command & Conquer, or Civilization. Resource building, management, and conquering opponents can help you achieve a better perspective on how to overcome tall odds.

The best multiplayer game is Quake 3. I also like Atomic Bomberman. But the most playable games was on 8-bit Atari computers.

Now, when I have no time, I like sometimes to play online games like Travian or my jigsaw puzzles.

I love gaming and spend way too much time playing games. Right now I am hooked on Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for the Nintendo DS. Final Fantasy Tactics is a strategic game that requires some thought and planning to win each of the battles, and I love the strategy that goes into it. Lots of fun.

MommyEnterprises - I usually play Bejewelled when my internet connection bogs down.

lookzovt - Atari? Hahahaha! I remember playing River Raid (one of the nicest games from Activision at that time) and the pre-Mario Brothers cult classic, Pacman, Surround, Missile Commander, and Space Invaders.

espacecadet - would love to try that but I'm stuck with a new online first person shooter game. but its not as refined as CS or Quake.

Jason - I heard about Spore in another message board. It's like you evolve your own living thing and you grow and conquer beyond the world. pretty cool if you ask me, but that would mean I would have to quit my neopets account.

LonNaylor - please tell me more about Total War

bendiggs - looks like I'm out of the loop when it comes to the new FF games. FF 8 was the best for me, so was FF 7.

Command & Conquer series for me. Although too be honest, i wasn't a huge fan of Red Alert (ducks for cover). I prefer the whole GDI/NOD thing...it was far more appealing too me.
Although i've yet too play Tiberian Wars 3, because this computer would probably burn out even attempting to load the game.

I've been playing "computer" games since the original Atari came one and at one time I owned over 20 full size arcade games, but most recently I used to play Soldier Of Fortune 2,went on to Counter Strike Source (actually the original counter strike was before Soldier Of fortune) and now am currently playing Team Fortress2 .

Ok let's vary the questions and make a list of the best games we played in every known game console here. Let me start by telling my favorite games:

Atari - Pacman and River Raid
Nintendo Family Computer - Super Mario Brothers 2 (definitely a classic)
Super NES - Rock N Roll Racing, Romance of the 3 Kingdoms
Super Famicom - Super Mario 3 (updated version)
Play Station - Tekken series, Final Fantasy 8, NBA Live
Play Station 2 - LOTR (New Age)
Nintendo Wii - Bowling and Boxing (great for getting in shape)

For PC games, I have a lot of games that I enjoyed:
Warcraft I-III, not much of a fan of DOTA but I'll try it when I have time
      Counterstrike 1.3, Condition Zero
Command & Conquer (GDI vs NOD), Red Alert, Generals and Zero Hour
Battle Realms with Winter of the Wolf Expansion
      Age of Mythology
      Age of Empire
      Starcraft
      and final two....

      TEXT TWIST and BEJEWELLED!

Solitaire is also great, especially if you can't connect online and you're just bored from typing!

It's going to hard to answer this question for me.

Growing up I loved adventure games and the Myst series would have to be one of the best although the lucas arts adventure games like Sam n Max, Day of the Tentacle, and Full Throttle were pretty good.

I liked console games as well but didn't get into them as much as these others.

I do have a taste for real time strategy games too like age of empires, starcraft, etc.

Currently, I have a subscription to gametap which is full of lots of oldies as well as some newer games and independent games which takes the edge off my gaming "needs".

You know Square are probably remaking FF VII right? At least they've redone all the cutscenes, and it seems to be that they'd only do that for a reason...

I have played way too many awesome games to list. At the moment I'm playing Chrono Cross on the PSX, it's pretty freaking awesome.

You do know that the rumor about Square Enix remaking Final Fantasy VII has been floating around the internet since the PS2 was released right? When Sony shipped the PS2, the opening cut scene was re-made to show off the power of the new system using a classic game. People went nuts, SE said that there was no remake coming. Skip forward a few years and we get a few movies and tie in games for FFVII, and people start claiming that there will be a remake. SE still says no. In other words, don't hold your breath on a remake, even though I would love one too.

Has anyone enjoyed playing The Sims? The bodyclock cycle really ticks me off! It's so accurate sometimes! And you can actually kill your character in the pool by taking away the ladder. Hahahahaha! :p

But seriously, does anyone enjoy Capitalism? That's a great game for money-management and playing like a corporate mogul. Also SimCity, which really brings out the real estate potential in you.

And for the pre-Windows era which are the DOS games, has anyone remembered playing "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?", "3K Trivia" or "Executive Suite", now those were the classics!

      ROTFLMAO!

I just remember playing that in the first Nintendo Family Computer back in the days when my dad was already hooked on Galactica and that Japanese Zero Fighter Plane killing a lot of Mustangs and dropping torpedoes at warships and subs! Brings me back to tears of joy and insanity remembering Duck Hunt! Hahahaha!

Some of the best Famicom games that I loved included Legend of Kage, Bomber Man, that other japanese game that's similar to Super Mario, Star Wars (using a small coin as a cheat to move to other levels), and Double Dribble.

I did play about 2 games of chess on my first puter, nothing since.
I've wondered a couple of times how much space it will free up if I
delete them all. But if they are still around when I'm bored, lonely,
and have absolutely nothing better to do for a long long time ...naw,
    probably not even then.

Halo 3 without a doubt is my favorite game.

I have COD4, gears of war, gta 4 and others, but I just can't get into them
      like halo 3.

If anyone plays halo3 and wants to add me on xbox live my gamertag is
