    Yeah, they're pretty disgusting. Problem is, as a former 35-year smoker, they don't really help people quit smoking or decide not to start.

    And, how about those old "this is your brain on drugs" commercials? They really helped people stop doing drugs, didn't they?

    The latest scare tactic they're using is an anti-electronic cigarettes ad, which is totally whacked out and poor advertising - because - electronic cigarettes actually do help people quit or keep them from going back to smoking tobacco cigs. And this particular ad is so freaking FALSE.

    And yes, many people use both regular and ecigs, which is actually SAFER than just using tobacco. They'll use an ecig where tobacco cigarettes are banned, and smoke a regular cig where they can, like at home or in their cars.

    Ads like this one are so totally off the mark.

    Just scaremongering, cancer increases with smoking but it also increases with other pollution entering the body or UV light damaging skin cells.
