Another thread by ScottRaven was just closed (I assume by him). He asked about how to help his teenage daughters make money online if they could not open a PayPal account. There were lots of good answers about starting a DBA and using a parents PayPal account until they were 18.

Actually PayPal provides a cleaner and more helpful way to do that. Any child that is 13 or older can have a Student Account that is attached to a parents PayPal account.

    Normal members can't close threads as far as i know...
    His thread was probably closed because it's a year old and someone who claimed to be 14 (Joined in 2012?) resurrected it to post some garbage...

    Plus he could have contacted Paypal and got the answer he wanted first hand...

      Exactly - recently the 1-5 year old posts resurrected by sig spammers is sometimes a significant number in this section especially.

      Chances are - if the person who posted just above you is someone new - WE need to check dates before chiming in.

      Note: Don't know what "another thread by ..." means. I see only two closed and both were bumped by spammers here. The mods removed the spam and closed the old threads. I think that's a plus for mods.

    Thanks for pitching in salesguru and Kay. I usually catch when an old thread is brought to life again by a sig spammer and it annoys me also. I will look closer next time.
