Wondering when u put ads on YouTube videos do they get paid only if clicked on or when anyone watches a video (impression) or both?

    The video ads that appear before a YT video is played are pay per view, but only if the viewer watches more than 15 seconds of the video. For advertisers, this is actually a great way to get free branding if your ads don't play for 15 seconds or more.

    The clickable "overlay" ads that appear directly on the videos after 10 seconds are pay per click, as are the ads that appear at the top of the "related videos" in the right column. There's also PPC ads in the YT search results.
