Well, at least he didn't have his dog with him as he has on many previous jumps.

In every tragedy there is a silver lining.

Yes indeed - he should have been arrested for ever taking his dog with him. Every article I have read has made the same mistake in their headline. It is always referred to as an "accident". By definition it is not an accident. The definition of an acciden is "such a happening resulting in injury that is in no way the fault of the injured person ". It is 100% his fault - no one else's that is for sure.

IMO - it is also a gene pool improvement. As iIread on one site - plan stupid games, win stupid prizes.

He was also in the act of committing a crime and created a large expense (who pays?) when the rangers and emargency rescuers had to search and retrieve the corpses. There was also a second, not so famous jumper who also set the descent speed record with him.

I do feel sorry for the parents.

Why bother with that? Scavengers can always use a fat meal. They do an excellent, organic job of 'clean-up.'

Yes, I always feel a little sad for folks that raise imbeciles to adulthood. By the time the signs are visible it's too late to suffocate them in their crib.

We need better recognition tools to aid them.

Yes i thought of that myself, just allow scanvengers in the wild to consume them but the problem with that is that I am sure that some of their gear / apparel was made of synthetic, non-biodegradible material. So in a sense they were also guilty of litering in a National Park.

I read they had to use helicopters to locate the remains, waste of fuel
