Beware This Godaddy Phishing Email!

I got an email this morning in gmail that said it was from Godaddy. It claimed that I had an unpaid balance and that they would take my domain away if I didn't pay it.

So later on, I logged into Godaddy and there was nothing out of the ordinary. I came back to the email, and saw signs that it's definitely a scam. It says it's from secure.godaddy.com via a site ending in .ru. I won't post the address here, but the point is that it's not from Godaddy. Also, when I hovered my mouse over the link they told me to click on (I'm using Google Chrome, it shows a whole different web address - a guy's name .info.

Just be very cautious.

Yep...any email that asks you to click on it to fix your bank account or other details that require payment must be regarded as suspicious.
Never click the links. Just log in to that site in your usual way.

    Thanks for sharing, Nathan.
