Wow. This guy has major composure and at 21 yrs. old...Unbelievable !

Of course it is pretty weird to win the US. Open today with such a bizarre three putt from Dustin Johnson.
I truly feel for DJ.

But as Greg Norman says "such is sports "

Tiger Woods has made golf exciting for a long time. I think he could still make a comeback. And he will always be one of my favs.

But I tell you it will be quite enjoyable and exctiing to see this classy kid in the next 20 years and see how many Majors he can rack up

After 7 years of a boring sport ( Tigers last Major Win) its really cool to see someone make golf exciting again

There's no way to make golf exciting again because it was never exciting in the first place. Golf is fun to watch when you need to take a nap, but watching paint dry is too exhilarating.

If you want to make golf exciting to watch, allow golfers to field tackle other golfers as they address the ball.

Dan, during Tigers heyday millions of people would beg to differ from what you say.

And Iam talking about people who never even played golf like my Mom and Wife who even wanted to see Tiger.
They couldn't tell you the difference between a Birdie and Eagle. They couldn't tell you who Jack Nicklaus or Phil Mickelson was. But by God they knew who Tiger was.

Sure, they'd watch Tiger for a combined 36 minutes over 42 hours of a three-day broadcast. The rest of the time is spent trying to keep the drool from getting all over their clothes.

I play golf, but simply cannot fathom how people can sit on their couch and watch it. I'll watch golf whenever I want to check how strong my will to live is.

Yeah anymore I just watch the last hour or 2 of British, Masters, US Open, and PGA Championship final rounds.

Not 20 years ago. I was watching as much as I could of the Majors. And some regular tour stops as well

I'm the non-golfer in the family but I love to go along on a beatiful day and drive the golf cart....

I've always thought being labeled as "the next....(insert famous name here"...was bad karma. People described that way seldom seem to stay the course, so to speak.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Tiger could come back. His injuries are excuses for a weak mind.

He's mentally challenged at the moment.

He's going for all these swing coaches etc.. None of them can help him.

He needs to just put the rock in the hole like he used to do when he was a kid. There is no better swing that what he used to have. There's no better put.

He needs to believe in himself, get his swagger back and then he'll be back. Until then, he won't.

I really don't think he has any interest in being the new Tiger Woods. The old one was a great golfer. The new one, just plain sucks. :-)
