This Is Freaking Me Out! No Brain Of Mine Is Being Chipped!

NBC has recently predicted that in 2017, all of America will be tagged with microchips.

...report also reveals an RFID Brain Chip that has been developed and is currently being tested on several humans. It was reported that the use of Micro-Chips in Bill H.R. 4872 was located on Page 1014 under "National Medical Device Registry" it tells about a "Class II Device That is Implantable" and yes, they passed the bill.
Am I the only one that finds this scary as heck?

LOL....yeah and all the numbers will begin with 666 but the skeptics will say its just a coincidence.

I'd relax though. Those year predictions in the news almost never pan out....... so you are safe till......2019.

DON'T LAUGH! Such things have been allowable for some time. At least 2 families have INTENTIONALLY gotten chipped. SOME organizations offered free child ID registration and one thing was RFID chips! So there may be MILLIONS of people born like 20 years ago that are chipped and don't know it.

That said? Yeah one year for EVERYONE is probably out of the picture. Am I chipped? WHO KNOWS? I DID have an extensive operation, and was in the hospital a few times since. I had a few flu shots. ANY of those times I could have been chipped.

The sign of the beast, we can't allow Bible prophesy to fall down in a heap?

I wonder how long it will be before, someone with a weak heart and a chip goes into a city and gets barraged with stupid ad's?

I'm far more concerned with hacking, such as demanding money from a family under the threat of (remotely) killing grandma.

I was more concerned with privacy issues, not because I have anything to hide of course, but for the principle of our rights being taken away.

Anyway, regarding the "mark of the beast", I've never considered that to be literal. Man was created on the 6th day according to ancient text and so I consider it to mean the beast to be a man. A trinity of men actually, due to "copycatting", but I'm not going to discuss it any further as I don't want to break the rules here.

I'm a good girl that way, lol!

Thing is people have been saying that its the next 5 years back from the 80s. The only thing I find somewhat interesting is that we actually have the technology to do it at this time in history.

        Mind you it IS coming.

We love convenience too much. We have terrorists concerns, child abduction concerns. It will only take the right terrorist attack or national emergency and everyone that doesn't want to comply with such a tracking and commerce system will be seen as the enemy to progress.

The bill makes a number of health-related financing and revenue changes to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act enacted by H.R.3590 and modifies higher education assistance provisions. Read together, H.R.3590 and the health care-related provisions of this bill are commonly referred to as the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
People called me crazy when they were yelling about how great the ACA was. Well, I actually read it. I won't even go near the website let alone sign on for that crap. If I get fined..........oh well. At least I'll still own my own body.

BTW - HR 4872 has only 55 pages and there is nowhere in the bill that Class II medical devices is mentioned. It is the ACA - and it's Class III devices that are the culprit.

OH, ABOUT 666! One guy wrote a book about some bar code that always had 666. At the time, I was into bar codes, and I checked it out. The 666 DOES look a bit like 666 and IS in all such bar codes. Of course, the 666 is MANGELED! WHY is it there? It is there as a sort of check to make sure the scanner scanned the number right. This is found all throughout computers. It is usually nowhere near a 6 and, on bar codes, is only SIMILAR. But if a prophet saw it, who knows?

You might want to look at the links below. Does your phone auto connect to wifi ... if it does, instantly insecure because I could make your phone connect to my computer and your phone will believe its your home router. Thus allow me to sniff all of your traffic, and yes because I'm the "Man In The Middle" acting as your router I can use SSL strip to see all your encrypted data

Drop a rouge AP around town and watch all the data you get to see ....

I believe you and, no my phone isn't linked to my Wi Fi!

I know, l pick up about 5 Wi Fi users in my street, which is interesting by useless without the access codes!

But in all honesty, if you did get into my phone, apart from family pics, which by itself cannot be used for much, you could see that l have good taste in music, and have an artistic streak.

And have some phone numbers there also, so apart from some annoying scam phone calls that is about it!

People and media seem to go Apes*** about all of this, but unless your bank access codes are on there, (or credit card numbers) who gives a s***!

My phone is 5 years old anyway, and has a small screen, more than enough for me, l don't want to p*** away my money on constant upgrades, or buying a silly phone that will go crunch when l try to put one in my pocket.

Or have to do what some silly individuals have to do, by walking around with it in your hand!

An implantable radiofrequency transponder system for patient identification and health information is a device intended to enable access to secure patient identification and corresponding health information. This system may include a passive implanted transponder, inserter, and scanner. The implanted transponder is used only to store a unique electronic identification code which is read by the scanner. The identification code is used to access patient identity and corresponding health information stored in a database.
Currently, people with life threatening allergies, illnesses or other medical conditions ...often wear a bracelet or pendant on a neck chain to alert medical personnel to their special needs or condition.

The concept of implantable health devices, when first mentioned years ago, seemed to be an improvement for these patients. Rather than search wallets for information or look for bracelets or other alerts...a quick scan could alert medical personnel to a patient's special needs.

That was before national health care - before the current insurance boondoggle we are living in now. At the time I thought it could be an asset for people with chronic illnesses. In the current climate of wiretaps and govt interference - I wouldn't trust it for a minute.

No Kay, I don't believe we'll all be chipped in 18 months. That's NBC sensationalism for sure.

What concerns me is that "the powers that be" are even considering it, that a bill has passed concerning it and that a lot of people won't see a thing wrong with it.

As you know, I have severe life threatening allergies and honestly, I'd rather perish from them than be chipped. Stupid or not, that's just how I feel.

Enough of my freedoms are being stripped as it is, and I'll be darned if I'll allow being chipped and hacked because of those allergies. I won't play into that game.

That was before national health care - before the current insurance boondoggle we are living in now. At the time I thought it could be an asset for people with chronic illnesses. In the current climate of wiretaps and govt interference - I wouldn't trust it for a minute.

That is the exact reasoning used in the ACA. Inside of a bill that mandated that people coule be sent without their permission to fat farm camps and that doctors could force you to allow an inspection of your home (accompanied by law enforcement), and you are under force to use any treatment that is prescribed to you whether you want it or not, it's smart not to trust it. I know a few pieces of that bill were immediately zapped for being wildly unconstitutional, but I'm not sure what is still in there and what isn't. I just won't comply with it. There's very little to do with health in that thing.

As far as phones - why the hell do we think we need 24/7 connection anyway? All those phones are doing is allowing us to be blanketed in a microwave grid. People want to scream about warming, but they want instant connection so won't drop wireless and go back to cables. It's just pure hypocrisy.

Also - if you don't want your vehicle tracked while you're on the road (even gov officials who can track you can be perverts. It's not always safe to have just anyone know where you are at any given time. You need to put magnets on the back of your license plate to scramble the chip in those - and either an electrostatic bag or tinfoil around your wallet so the one in your driver's license isn't active.

If you don't understand exactly how tracked you really are.........google patents for tracking devices. There's quite a difference between fantasy and a US registered patent.

Also - as far as being chipped? The previous comments are right. You won't necessarily know that it's being done. Ever hear the word NANO used with these things?

And I'd hope that would be choice whether to do it or not.

What if your elderly parent had Alzheimers? In the past year I've seen several news stories (both here and in the South) of Alzheimer's patients who walked out of the house or off the ground of a nursing home. Several of them died from exposure and I hated to think how frightened, cold (or over heated) they were before they died. Do you think those families might like the OPTION of implanting a chip in the patient's arm so they could be tracked? One man here in Ohio wore a bracelet with a small GPS on it - he took it off and it was found on the street near his home. He went into the woods and was found too late.

Where did the "Brain" come in? I read several of the pages of the actual document that were linked by NBC and found not one reference to a "brain chip".

I'm not interested in being "chipped" - but that doesn't mean I don't see uses for such technology. This report on NBC must have been a while back as Brian Williams has been gone for a while, hasn't he?

I agree, Kay. The technology could certainly be used for a lot of good. However, in the wrong hands, this is extremely dangerous technology. That's my primary concern. However, if I had a child, or a loved one with dementia who was prone to wondering, having a chip implanted that could be used for finding them if something happened (just as my pets have always had) would be appealing - although I'd still be a bit wary.

Even without GPS, the cell network providers still have a reasonably good idea of where each phone is, by triangulating the signal with the nearby towers.

I'd suspect with good reason he would feel pretty smart seeing as how he never said where or who watched NBC news (you is often used generically) but you or your source definitely did when you or they watched the videos.

They recently passed a new law mandating that all credit cards now have these chips. They CLAIM it limits fraud! Two REALLY big problems!

      1. IT DOESN'T!
      2. Do you have ANY idea, as a dollar percentage, how much I buy in person with my credit card? VERY little! The average sale IN PERSON is about $15(about maybe <12 a month). The average sale on the phone or internet is about $700(about maybe >12 a month)! OK, so MAYBE it can catch 2% of fraud MAYBE. That is such a small chance! But SERIOUSLY, I could work around that if I had to.

I agree though there are currently implants done for various medical treatments that don't seem to have those problems.

I wouldn't tolerate a mass "chipping" of the public - though I initially wondered if this would be linked in the future to "health care". We've discussed this "chipping" in the past here.

I think if used for those with serious medical issues or mental health probems - the other concerns might be less important than the need to provide fast treatment or find someone lost.

My pets have been implanted with chips for many years now - and have never had a side effect or problem with it.

If you have ever been 'put under' for any medical or dental procedure in the past 5 years you have probably already been 'chipped.' Likewise if you have had any routine injections of any kind and you thought for a moment that the needle looked larger than usual - 'chipped.' Colonoscopy, pelvic exam, catheter in your wee-wee, ear or throat examination? Most definitely, 'chipped.'

It's a very well-guarded secret, but the Obama administration has been paying healthcare providers to chip people for almost 6 years. There is no need to worry as they are doing this for totally benign purposes.

At least that's what the message I receive on a daily basis keeps telling me.

        Cheers. - Frank

Wonderful. Now we are going to see this on FOX as a breaking report.....and next week, FOX will be referenced here, saying what you just said.

To complete the news cycle...CNN will report on FOX's "error in reporting" and MSNBC will then report it was a conspiracy designed to confuse the public....

Then it's on to the next 'breaking news' headline....

I can't watch any of the cable news any more - repetitive, boring, etc.

I think it comes to down to "what do I get out of it"?

Chipping your dog? YES! Chip your dog! Chipping an Alzheimer's patient? Yes! That is a very good idea! Chipping a healthy guy in his 20s? Well.... what does he get out of it? So far, not much. Nothing that can't be covered by Location Services on a cell phone, and Seasoned had a point--it does absolutely nothing for you online.

So even if they had the best of intentions, and never strayed from their ideals, the idea of a microchip is a BAD one. Imagine if someone else ended up having the same value as you. DON'T think that unlikely! Network cards were supposed to have a unique number, but some manufacturers took shortcuts, so that disappeared, Imagine if someone somehow stole your chip, or even chopped off an appendage to get it. Or what if someone just slipped up or it was merely disabled.

And EVEN if they never intended it to be for money, and never intended it to be used in such a way, IT WILL BE! Think I am crazy? OK, there IS a number USED FOR ID for retirement that became, NOT TO BE FOR IDENTIFICATION elsewhere, ETC.... It then became one for welfare, work, banking, insurance, etc... SOCIAL SECURITY. There was even a law forbidding the private sector from using it as an ID, and yet they still did. Of course the GOVERNMENT likes it internally, and in finance, since they can have everything interlinked. With the laws there, they can tie all this stuff together. THEIR free use of this number, IRONICALLY, hurts the SECURITY of SOCIETY!

As for getting all chipped by 2017? I doubt they could do it THAT fast, but it may already be in the works. Perhaps MILLIONS of people in the US have been chipped, and many don't even know it, various organizations facilitated that on the pretense of security of society or the one being chipped. Will THOSE chips be grandfathered in? Perhaps they are THE chips the government always intended to use. HECK, they could be chipping BABIES now without any other party knowing or asking.

The scariest part is that the federal government has gone WAY beyond its prescribed jobs. It has changed from something to assist decent US citizens to one that is acting like those they were to protect us FROM.

Well, I gots me the most evil of birthdays - Valentines day!

But it's gonna be different this year as I'm not expecting the normal explosion of chocolates as gifts.

Either way, that IS a cheat day for me just because it is my BD so I can kick in now and not worried so much that it is a weekend.

Plan is to be good until then. Then let loose for the day and resume back into it all.

I'm saving up for a lobster or fried seafood explosion of some kind.

2 lbs a week progress will be enough to keep me focused.

Got my vitamins, got my meat, and always have my martinis

Toss in some occasional salads and good to go.

Kay, are you a coffee drinker? Do you know about the bullet proof coffee?

It will curb your appetite for a good 2 meals.
