Is there no way to report spam from Private Messages?

I have received a spam message from caskone. I do not see any way to report the message as spam the way we can in regular post.

I would like to "hit the triangle" and report it from the PM inbox.

Am I missing something?

    It's in the upper right-hand corner, Joe, in the black bar. It doesn't stand out on the black background as well as it does on the light gray, so it isn't hard to miss it.

    Thanks Dennis. I've just been forwarding them to "admin". Hope they've been getting them. I've gotten 2 from 2 different people in just the last week. It's getting pathetic.

      Several newer members have complained about PM spam but most of the spammers don't target long time members (who will report them).

      That particular person is banned so one down....

      I think for a time at least people were warned about PM spam but were not banned for doing it so the word got around that you can get by with it. Mods seem to be cracking down on it now but I don't think new members know they can report it.

        Not quite so simple Kay, they just create a new account and continue their spam. I had a bozo pm me two days ago with a clickbank offer and I reported the clown and he was banned.

        I just got an email alert that I have a private message and low and behold, it's the same idiot with the same offer. How do I know it's the same person, when I hover over the image it's the same url that forwards to the the vendors site.

        You think that this goof would not pm the same people over and over because they'll get reported, maybe he thinks that I'll give in and buy.

    The spammer I reported today spammed my pm box at 10:40 am and almost nine hours later has yet to be banned.

    Just like this member who spammed the wso section 6 months ago and it's still there. 6 months come on now, what kind of policing is that.

    I've had a few of these spam messages in my inbox and reported each of them.
    How do I find out if the sender got banned?

      just look up their user name with "search" - of course, if you are like me - you probably deleted the message and forgot the user name
