I keep getting "need a plug-in" notes on the videos posted in here - but am able to see them on youtube.

I saw this last year and all I can think of is -- why didn't they think of checking that out a long time ago? Also wondering what else they'll find underground at that island. Pretty sure there's more coming to this story and am really looking forward to it.

Use Chrome, it has adobe flash built in and will display on all sites. Otherwise, if you must use Firefox or other go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download and install it, then Firefox and others will pick it up.

PS dont forget to uncheck the Mcaffee Virus killer check box offer before downloading

Not . No, but then again it takes one to know one. And people wonder why some folks do not visit this forum anymore.

I'm very sorry, I obviously hit a nerve. Honestly, there is nothing to be ashamed of.

                  A perfectly good joke, wasted.

Look, I said a joke. You didn't think it was funny. Let's let it go. Everyone's sensibilities are different, I get that.

But honestly, "It takes one to know one"? I can think of far better ways to get back at me. You haven't even mentioned my bedwetting.

Its all good and my apologies. I was thinking (and yes it hurt), so I looked back at your post history and now realize that you are one of the good guys.

I want everyone to read this, and study it as an example of how to handle a heckler.

A reasoned post, including a compliment, will stop a heckler in their tracks.

And I woke up today with a list of a dozen witty comebacks...now, all wasted.

Jeffrey; Honestly, I didn't mean to offend. Several of us insult each other as a form of entertainment, and I crossed a line, before the boundaries were set. Your post was gracious, and I thank you.

It was pretty big news when the discovery of the heads was first publicized so you probably picked it up from mulitple sources. I've been bombarded with so many Archaeology "shorts" that I can't always remember who told me (or where I read) what, either. They were talking about further study back at that time - but I think funding got disrupted or they found something really controversial that won't be published between then and now so no word was given until they found something they were willing to make public again. That's how it usually works in the field.

Lan - I have the plug-in and it works elsewhere. Not sure why it won't work on the forum. I had it set to "ask to activate" and think I might have clicked a wrong button or something. Can't find it now. I'll find it sometime when the situation gets too aggravating. I have 2 other things that are far more aggravating to take care of before this one gets to me enough to fix it. LOL.

Sounds like a city that got buried in a volcanic eruption.

Wonder what else they will find?

I'm wondering if they found something else and aren't publishing it anywhere. But - I think you're right and I think they'll find settlement ruins of some sort. Either that or at least some sort of religious ruins. It could have been a holy place of some sort with no actual full time residents. The fact that it's an island would also mean possible maritime artifacts that will eventually lead to some discovery of who they were and where they came from.
