It has happened to me too many times in my life. He/She is a complete stranger, but, I feel it as somebody who I know since long time.


What's the reason behind it?

    Maybe they trigger something familiar in you, and you attribute qualities to the new person.

    I've had it happen. Sometimes, the real person is the image I have, sometimes not.

    I'm had instant attractions. But never instant affection. That comes later.

    Same thought processes?

    For instance, if two Kinaesthetic/"Feeling" people meet, they will immediately be on the same wavelength and something like only 10% of the population have that thought process. (As apposed to Auditory and Visual people.)

    Maybe some people are just more suited to each other and sense it early on.
