Would you swim in a clear-bottom pool stretched between two towers high above the streets of London?

No. That's just silly, especially dumb, perhaps dangerous. England doesn't get a lot of earthquakes, but that is only one of many dangerous possibilities.

Terrorists must be smacking their lips over that one!

But if it is Plexiglass it would probably take a basooka, to break it?

Sure to end up in a Bond Film, l hope that cats can swim?

I'd put a dolphin in the pool & teach it to do tricks.

I don't know why it's silly, it's just be a bridge filled with water as far as I can tell.

Yeah I'd have no problem swimming in it but isn't something I'd aspire to.

  • Hmmm. I'm not so sure about this one.

All the air under that thing would act like a superthermoconductor.

Allied to the searing heat in London, this would make swimming in the pool like jumping in a bath of boiling water.

Sounds like a frickin' deathtrap to me.

      Searing heat???

More likely it would freeze solid and they could ice skate on it, at least til someone goes of the edge?

How long is it going to be til some dumb kid trys to walk across this on the edge with a drone filming him for Youtube fame?

I will give it 3 months?

Of course I'd swim in it - just because it's unique. Would be fascinating to see through the walls of that pool while you are in it.

But then I'd probably have nightmares about it as heights and I are not on a friendly basis.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.
