Yeah, it SOUNDS nice, but it will always be tainted by the historical views of such people. I watched a video just today that spoke of things I knew, and showed others that were interestingly frank. Of how people, professing a desire for world peace and equality, studied how to DESTROY peace and comfort as a way to instill a supposedly peaceful and "fair" world. Like the "Cloward-Piven Strategy"! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clowar...Piven_strategy .

Yet ALL that have followed such advice have ended up in areas that were OLIGARCHIES(like the USSR, CHINA, VIETNAM, etc...) and dictatorships(Like NK, CUBA, LAO, etc...). FUNNY how the advocate peace and "fairness", yet provide no real way to get ahead, restrict freedom, education, communication, etc.... etc....

As for the dictator he was obviously mocking? That person:
    1. Had a riot, to bring people to his view.
    2. was jailed.
    3. wrote a manifesto.
    4. started a SOCIALIST government for the WORKERS!
    5. created a lot of socialist programs, along with school, youth camps, etc....
    6. controlled speech, freedom, education, and communication.
    7. OH, and he was against the RICH! Oh SURE, he wanted to refine the message a bit more, but STILL... Korea, CUBA, Russia, China, and others do the EXACT SAME THING! Look at russias current action with the Ukraine!

OH, people like to have fun changing words, but NOTICE the similarities!

As for being the best speech? How about the person that once said such things as:

I should like to know, if taking this old Declaration of Independence, which declares that all men are equal upon principle, and making exceptions to it, where will it stop? If one man says it does not mean a negro, why may not another man say it does not mean another man? If that declaration is not the truth, let us get this statute book in which we find it and tear it out.
Let us discard all this quibbling about this man and the other man—this race and that race and the other race being inferior, and therefore they must be placed in an inferior position, discarding our standard that we have left us. Let us discard all these things, and unite as one people throughout this land, until we shall once more stand up declaring that all men are created equal.
And YET, HE was a REALIST! He ALSO said:

the authors of the Declaration of Independence:
intended to include all men, but they did not mean to declare all men equal in all respects. They did not mean to say all men were equal in color, size, intellect, moral development or social capacity. They defined with tolerable distinctness in what they did consider all men created equal — equal in certain inalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness ... They meant to set up a standard maxim for free society which should be familiar to all: constantly looked to, constantly labored for, and even, though never perfectly attained, constantly approximated, and thereby constantly spreading and deepening its influence and augmenting the happiness and value of life to all people, of all colors, everywhere.
And don't try to make that racist. Negro wasn't a slur. It is merely a name given to a set of characteristics, that applies to this day. And he wasn't talking about blacks, but EVERYONE. Of course, being against slavery that some states said blacks HAD to be a part of, he referred to them specifically, and used the other language to say that if a white could say it didn't apply to a black, than an english man could say it didn't apply to an irish man, etc.... It also said that the promise will NEVER be perfectly attained, but should always be there and people should strive to achieve it!

And HEY, if you listen to martin luther kings speech, IT was ALSO good. He spoke to a black audience, and used such specific words. Listen carefully though, and it applies to just about anyone.

To bring about such a change would mean a huge shift in the consciousness for the human race. It would mean the end of all individual drive other than to better the common good of all. It would mean and need the end of all envy and greed. Some people work harder and are naturally more intelligent than others and would feel hard done by if they are not rewarded in kind. That would need to end .

A tall order to strive for, yes perhaps a too high ideal to attain. At least, as time goes on you see more and more laws passed in civilized lands that strive to make things a little fairer to people, to level the playing field little by little. We have actually come a long way in just a few hundred years.

My only hope is that by example, as new citizens are born and grow up taking these laws as read we may slowly move towards that end.

A long way to go though.
