A Chicago McDonald's employee who closed the register during the dinner rush to help a disabled customer is being praised by the fast food chain.

The backstory is a quick read,

The title of the article seems to imply the employee was only praised after the photo went viral, therefore McDonald's were worried about a social media shitstorm, so decided to praise the guy.

As the article states that the guy's boss is "very proud of him",and since it's such a good story, I'm not going to criticise anyone other than the sub-editor responsible for writing yhe headline of the article.

The actual source of the article seems to be an NBC news site, and has the same headline, so they should've fixed it as well.

A much better headline would've been "McDonald's employee wins praise after helping disabled customer", or just drop the "after photo goes viral" bit.

Anyway, bravo to Kenny, the employee in question. Would that the world were full of people like him.

I love seeing videos of people actively being kind to each other. Everyone seems busy arguing whether people are good or not based on all sorts of crazy things - skin color, sexual orientation, religion, etc. Whatever happened to deciding if a person was good by whether they are just plain nice to other people?

    Thumbs up to this kid.
