Where do you say goodbye here?

Yeah - I'm out.

The last two straws that broke my back:

http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-browsers.html

So good luck everybody. I tried to make it to 1,000 posts. I really did.

I just don't think this is a safe place. Somewhere between people being hoodwinked, the weird morning spam, and the random email addresses showing up in my visitor logs (which I've warned WF about), it just doesn't feel secure enough.

So again, good luck, back up, and update your anti-virus/anti-malware software!

I don't agree with your complaint about the first link. Experienced buyers don't choose the cheapest writers and then order 15,000 words without any testing of the quality or even looking at work as it was completed.

The article posted could be fleshed out and corrected rather quickly and easily. At least the writer had given the subject some thought - more than many low end writers do.

Seems the buyer didn't consider quality until after all the work was done - then wanted all his money back? Really? Not cool.

Just wait a second – so what you're telling me is that my chance of surviving all this is directly linked to the common sense of others? You’re kidding, right?

Um, why? There's nothing magic or special about reaching 1,000 posts within a certain time frame - or ever...

When I hit 1,000 posts, there was a party in Raleigh NC. They flew me in, and there was a huge event with everyone that had 1,000 posts or more. It happens every time someone hits 1,000 posts.

When I got to 3,000 posts, I got a new car.

      I'm totally totally serious. Totally.

I am sorry to see you go too. Just not understanding why you just can't be more cautious about buying WSOs in the future instead of just leaving. I've purchased several WSOs. And one just recently I got it because they promised support if you had any questions. Well I did have some questions and they were completely ignored by the seller. This seller has a large thread and had many people praising his stuff. I trusted that many people couldn't have been making it up. So despite my reluctance to purchase too many WSO's, I went on and made a purchase. Then for my money I got a short PDF and zero support.

Yes it's frustrating. But I certainly wouldn't want to blame the whole forum for my situation. It was simply a lesson learned. As for safety, everyone gets spam from time to time. One can simply delete it or change their email on here to another one, that isn't your primary email address.

Several threads have been surfacing regarding similar issues. Nonetheless this forum has lots of good things and good people on here as well. Perhaps it might help to focus a little more on the good experiences on this forum, and less on the disappointments.

They fed you corn. You heard it phonetically. It was Eunuch corn.

          And they were right.

After 1,000 posts I was presented with a Rolex Oyster Perpetual. Looking on the back I saw it was made in China . . . I never knew, I'd always thought they were made in Switzerland I'll treasure it forever.

People who just joined up in the not too distant past, and aren't really very well known to start with, usually just leave if they want to, without the dying swan act. You don't like it here ... leave. Simple.

Sorry you feel you had a bad experience with WF. I'm pretty sure its not the forum. Many people have been here 10 plus years and attribute lots if their success to this forum. Instead of placing blame, own what happened and learn from it. This forum provides free info for all things related to IM. Don't place blame, get back up and fight.

From some of the comments made on this thread I'm not surprised you want to leave. Don't worry mate, not all of us think we're better just because we might have been here longer.

I can only speak for myself, but to me it didn't matter if he had been here for 15 years with 10K posts.

Iam just so over the "Ceremonial Departure" threads people seem to do more and more.

When I leave ,it will be without even a small whimper.

I love this place but I sure don't need any farewell hugs or "woe is me" BS to make me full good about myself

I didn't get that impression from not even one reply! Everyone is simply saying just leave, why such a grand exit.

I got a huge gold chain necklace for 1K posts, but had to take back some of the stuff I said, so I deleted those posts. Still got to keep the gold necklace.

Thousand? When I hit 3,000 I didn't even get to make some monumental milestone post like some people did. When I was at 2,999 either Ken or Thomas thought it was funny to change my post count to 3001, so all I ended up doing for it was making a post about how delightful our mods were. LOL. Did you save a piece of the Unicorn? I feel so dejected.
