Signatures do you block them?

Since some days I found out how to add a signature to my posts.
Call me slow, but it took some times.
Since then I also found the button, how to see the signatures from others,

And I will be honest, I didn't expect much, but the fact is, that many signatures are really interesting. To my own surprise I already bought something from clicking on a signature.

What about you guys, do you block the signatures, or do you leave them open and are they interesting for you?

I am also trying to add a signature but I'm not able to do that. So I'm think to prefer manual linking.

Is it possible to block other members' signatures? I find some very annoying. Or is their sig the only reason they post?
Congrats for figuring out how to edit signatures. I hope I 'll get there by 2017 if I am as fast as you are.

Block Sigs ? Didn't know that was an option. Wouldn't see much purpose in it.

Wow, thank you! I unchecked the "Show Signatures" and this thread looks much better now.

No. I wouldn't block signatures. I've bought a lot of useful things in the past from signatures of people that I respect. A lot of those people are gone now, but I still prefer to see signatures.

I'll never block the signatures. It's for me the summary of every person here, the most important for him/her and the element which could do I contact someone or not... Also, above the words everyone can put in his posts, his sig indicates his main direction, his context, his nature. For me, it's the best way to determine who is who!

I see no reason to block signatures! There are plenty of members who post for sig exposure and if you have them blocked, you will be unable to determine if a poster is serious or just looking for exposure.

I don't want to waste my time answering questions that have an alter agenda.

That is one of the best reasons not to block them, because it says much more about who is the person that answers or started the topic.

That and the fact that this is a marketing forum. Why would anyone be here at all if they didn't have something to market? It's not like it's the "social" place to be. lol.

Some people seem to forget that and are just hanging around in the of topic forum to chat about everything else... accept marketing.

I have little interest in marketing here or talking about marketing here any longer. It used to be profitable for me to do so, but no longer is. So I do just mostly chat with friends in Off Topic now. But that doesn't negate the fact that this still is allegedly a marketing forum and anyone who doesn't want to see signatures, really isn't much of a marketer.

unable to determine if a poster is serious or just looking for exposure.
Usually their post is enough to determine that without seeing the sig. Though it is funny to see the "I need help/money in 3 days" - with a sig of "get rich in 24 hrs".

I go back and forth. Almost all sigs I've checked lately are either Fiverr gigs.... signup pages for an mlm... or a promise to give me the "secret" if I'll only give my email address. Not happening.

Sigs used to be more interesting - real websites/blogs by real people. I expect next time I bother to turn them off, they'll stay that way.

really isn't much of a marketer.
Not much of a marketer now - pretty much retired and work only when the urge hits me. My sigs have been my interests rather than business for a long time....
