Hilarious.

Most people shed tears of sadness when visiting a graveyard but this family found themselves in tears of laughter after a relative managed to get herself into a rather embarrassing situation.

Captured at a cemetery in America is the moment a woman slipped over while attempting to pay respect to the grave of a loved one. Instead of helping the woman to her feet, one of the family members quickly grabbed his camera and set about filming the relative on the ground.

That might have been humorous had she not been obese. Unfortunately, it makes her family members look like jerks for laughing at her, not to mention videotaping the situation and submitting it to the media - unless she was truly okay with that. But I imagine she probably felt pretty humiliated.

I can't imagine any woman - especially one who's overweight - wanting a photo of her backside posted all over the Internet.

That single sentence is the finest flypaper to attract some choice comments from the OT comedians. And go . . . .

Yes, no doubt. Robert's already "fixed" it for me!

I'm sure Claude will have a clever come back as soon as he sees it...

Sorry, PN - the thread is now on the derailment fast-track!

Yeah have to agree with Cali. Its really degrading to this poor women.

I can tell you this almost without reservation...she may laugh and seem all happy go lucky about it but deep down it hurts her tremendously.

      Thats just a suspicion.

I didn't think it was funny at all. Humiliating people isn't funny. And being humiliated isn't funny.

Her whole family found it funny, and she didn't seem too bothered about it herself. As the woman is grossly overweight maybe it will shame her into doing something about it.

You seem to be rather tetchy and at times critical lately, Claude. Maybe it's missing Dan, or vacuum sales are down. Whatever, I've seen you poke fun at a lot worse than this in many posts over the years.

There is nothing funny about that. Another case of lack of respect for the place - and for a person. Even worse if it's a family member.

Low class humor to be more interested in making smarta@@ remarks while you shoot a video ridiculing someone else.

He keeps saying "I know you're laughin'" - but she isn't. I'll bet the person with the camera is just as obese....see those chubby fingers.

It actually doesn't take much to be considered a 'difficult woman' -

          .
I have my own perceptions as to what is funny. Sometimes they are the same as most, sometimes not.

My mother was the most obese woman I've ever seen. She was 5' 1" and weighed 350 pounds. That's almost an impossible weight. There were many times she had to call 911 because she couldn't get off the floor. She had to walk with crutches after age 40, simply because she couldn't take the weight. Nothing was funny about it.

Insults are funny, when they are abstract. Jokes are funny, because jokes are abstract.

But real handicaps aren't funny to me. Scaring someone isn't funny to me. Ignorance and stupidity isn't funny to me. Drunks aren't funny. Mental illness isn't funny. I just have a different perception than you.

Your images of me are funny though, and imaginative.

Added later; Pomposity is funny, especially my own. Self-righteousness is always funny to me, especially my own. For some reason, having my balloon popped by someone (usually a great insult) is just the funniest thing in the world to me.

That rags getting worse. They call that news? It's not news, they only stick videos on there like that with a very short write up which is basically an edited running commentary of what is said or seen in the video just to get traffic to their site. And I do wonder whether they get sent the video or just copy them straight off youtube and then post it as their own? Talk about dumbing down.
