Has anyone noticed a change in WF design?

Hey! I was just wondering has anyone noticed a change in the layout of WF?
To be honest, navigating through different forums is now difficult.
I would like to hear your opinions on it

I like the entire top nav area. They probably have more changes in mind for the main forum sections. I doubt what you are looking at is the complete design change.

I too like the overall design (especially that nav thingy)

We have a winner The survey they sent out has been followed up e-mails. They Beta Testing the navigation bar. Friday they sent another e-mail, more is on the way.

Personally I find it harder to go back when I'm done reading a post. I skim thru each of my favorite sections to see what I want to read and don't want to read. On the main forum their are too many subjects not worth the time to look at. But they are making a good attempt to make improvements, and expect more to keep up in the future with changing technology.

  What's wrong with this forum has nothing to do with technology and everything to do with people. Technology will only once again change the nature and culture of this forum, to the detriment of the forum. This ain't a social network and trying to make it one, makes absolutely zero sense.

I just noticed these few changes. I see they have a top black bar now and some new navigation system.

It does look alright, so far!

I can feel a mayor design improvement coming soon

Yeah, it feels right to me. I really hated the whole circus feel they had going on before, with the stupid little mascot guy and all that candy apple shit.

  Yes I can now see a black bar at the top.
  
  Also I noticed that when I went to log in, a pop up box now appears where you type in your log in details.
  
  It is always nice to have a change every so often.

  There are a lot of other changes.
  
  You have a bell now in the upper right hand corner, a little circle with your picture in it. For a while the name was not linking to a profile but is now. Links at the very top are different (feed,forum, warroom, marketplace).

  Had the breadcrumb trail been present - I wouldn't have thought about the changes. It would be "hmmm, made some changes" and that's all the thought I would have given it.
  
  But - this little birdie missed the breadcrumbs so I fluttered around till Danieljb took pity and fixed it!

There's the black nav bar. With the avatar, the pm icon and that bell. Kind of taken from something like facebook. I don't want the bell. I have no intention of navigating the forum via the bell or Marking All As Read. I'll just leave it alone until there are 2 million notifications and it breaks or something.

The site has already been redesigned once, in a major way. What were the results of that? Reduced traffic, reduced income for advertisers, increase in spam and unintelligible posts, decrease in affiliate traffic to site, decrease in long term members who knew what they were talking about, decrease in value added conversations.

So ... maybe they think that yet another redesign will fix all that. It won't and when all of it is rolled out to everyone, which it is not yet, including a feature that is in beta test, it may make it a great deal worse than it is now.

I really hate how the header goes across full page now. That's really ugly. Don't like how small they made the WF logo either.
