Why would you want to know that? Shouldn't you be more focused on your own achievements and goals?

Actually, I personally see some merit in the OP's idea, in the sense that one can improve one's own progress through the use of accountability partners.

We already see people on WF seeking coaching relationships, and one aspect, (not the only aspect), is ensuring that the recipient stays on target. Usually, the recipient would pay the coach. One could expand the idea to create bilateral coaching, where each party commits to kicking the others' butt, and then no money would need to change hands.

I'm going to quote from something that I wrote two years ago, in an attempt to further expand on this idea:
Off the top of my head, I can think of at least three different
approaches to coaching / accountability. (I've been told by
a coach friend that accountability circles typically collapse,
and I'm respecting that this may very well be true.) One
thought is a human coach ring, where no money changes
hands, and each person serves to kick the next person's
butt, and keep them on task. A different idea is to outsource
the butt-kicking, recognizing that there's not likely going to
be much "depth" from the third-world provider, but there'd
be a human connection of sorts, none-the-less. Obviously,
one would have to keep a more systematized record of
what work was actually performed, since the outsourcer
would have less detailed knowledge about the actual tasks
that the coachee wishes to accomplish. Then, once those
tasks are so well systematized (e.g., a grid of tasks and
days, where some progress needs to occur on X tasks
every day), then maybe the whole process could be
automated, and let the website/app itself be the coach.

I suppose it saves having to talk to them.

I'm working on an app right now, and one of the main selling points is just this. Sharing your plans, goals and progress with others who share similar plans and goals.

I figure if five or ten like-minded Warriors all intend to tackle a similar project (sell a report, monetize a blog, execute a CPA campaign, etc.), and they all follow the same plan of attack, it could be very helpful if they could share their efforts and results.

For the types of projects IMers work on, I believe sharing efforts and results can add inspiration, confidence and accountability to the project. Tough stuff to conjure up when you're always working alone.

I think it'd be helpful to share progress with others, but what I think don't count. I would really like to know what more of you think before I sink my nest-egg into developing this app. If you want to check it out, it's in my sig. (the part about "Joining a Squad" is on slide 116.)

This is an old IM tactic known as a Follow Me scheme. Joe Blow creates a rags to riches story & leads the rest of the world to his email optin form or the affiliate link/product that spits out golden nuggets.

What will happen is you'll end up with a boat load of spam.

That really sounds like a wonderful ap for all those warriors who find it easier to rip off the ideas of others rather than developing their own. If you have a plan that is likely to make good money, the best way to destroy your earning potential from it is to share it around.

Reminds me of those scams that want you to share ideas for products that say they'll help develop and patent the product. People send all their ideas in and, somehow, that "company" just disappears off the face of the planet.............but also, somehow, the better ideas seem to hit the market via another "inventor" not long after.

Most of the time when our friends reach goals we know when they start advertising the product/service.

Now excuse me, I have a goal to polish off a quart of organic vanilla yogurt right now. This goal will take around a half hour to complete. You can be completely assured I will achieve this goal with no coaching or prompting.

I think it would be good, but I think I saw an app like this few months ago. Someone posts the projects he is working on and have different statuses to show the progress. It can be motivational because you don't want to let your friends think that you are not focused enough on your goals.

let me know when it is ready
