In the last week, we have had miserable weather down here in South Texas even dipping down into the 40s on some days. And just rainy and wet

But finally the sun broke out today. Kids were out on are whole street riding bikes. One without his dang shirt lol
Mine were racing back and forth enjoying the 77 degree weather and trying to keep up with the 3 brothers next door.

Days like this make you feel so pepped up and just like you are Alive once again

Oh btw Shane I sat out in the sun with a few Michelobs for nearly 2 hours and no slip slap dabbety dap

Sounds awesome. It's been weeks since I've seen sun up here. Not feeling great and know a few days of sun would do the trick for me. - Well, we did have about 15 minutes today and I got outside for maybe 10 of it - felt worse only getting that much as if it had stayed under again all day.

That -- and I'm so sick of driving on ice I could just scream. Seriously considering starting to spend winters South and Summers north.

Well, Sal, South Texas does have its bad points. Winters are awesome but Summers can be miserable with 100% and 108 degree weather

That's about the temp of the high deserts up here during Summer. I love the Great NW in the summer, fall, and spring. All of it. There's a reason it's called the GREAT NW.

But, when the temperatures drop, the wind whips up, and the snow starts coming down and freezing overnight -- it's time to go south. I wouldn't like TX, but I'd really dig NM or AZ.

After what 12 years in Houston i still couldn't get used to the punishing heat combined with suppressing humidity.... I remember a few years back almost 4 straight months of 100+ temps.....
