[Warrior Forum] New Look!!

Hey enjamulahsan,
We're currently looking into the best way to include signatures in the modern view version. It's still early days with this. This view is only out to a small number of users . If you get stuck on this new version at any point you can always add a ?view=classic to the url to see the old version.

Here's the overview.
You'll see there are topics in the Right Hand, these provide easy access to the forums. You'll notice the names are slightly different in some circumstance, this is to provide clearer description or more concise descriptions of the forums.

If you click on a topic then you'll see that only threads from that topic are shown in the feed.

Trending orders things by the number of upvotes they have received with a time variable. The idea is to send good new content to the top. If you like a thread or discussion upvote it so that others can see it as well.

If you want to order by last post (same as the standard ordering in the forum) simply order by most recent.

You can also see the top voted posts of different time periods by clicking top.

If you just want to see everything click on all topics and you'll see everything combined into one single feed.

Reading Threads in the New View.

There are still some outstanding issues on this that we're working on as I type.

You'll see a related discussion box on the right hand side that allows you to find similar discussions to the one you’re currently reading.

You can add a comment by simply typing into the comment box. There’s a known issue on adding new lines that we’re working on at the moment.

You can also navigate by clicking tags to see similarly tagged discussions.

Subscribing gives you email notifications when people reply.

You can like others comments as well. Currently replying to a specific comment takes you back to the old forums way of doing it but this will change shortly as well.

I hate it and I don't read it in feed. I have it set to default to normal forum view. I think the feed is cumbersome and hideous. This ain't reddit and copying reddit for a forum is just a really crazy idea.
