These are just some of the crazy large sculptures and displays that look completely out of place, yet adorn the rooftops of numerous houses in the Punjab state of India. They are meant to represent the "aspirations" of their owners or reflect elements of their personal history. It takes all sorts I suppose.

Indian state where a plane on the roof is normal

So how is Santa supposed to do his job with all those obstacles on the rooftops?

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

    • I kinda like the idea.

As a symbolic gesture it prolly has more merit than buryin' the paraphernalia of evil in a hole in the ground.

Plus, they are fun to look at.

So I am addin' 20 foot tall stone animal to my Want list, jus' in case one comes up on Ebay.

I should also meditate on deceased animalkind at Yoga tonight cos I figure there may be a whole buncha people waitin' to be reincarnated as animals who cannot get back outta the spirit world because cats an' dogs an' fluffy bunnies are so popular.

If these guys have been advised to run with stuff like mongeese or weevils for the sake of environmental diversity, mebbe they can be persuaded to come back as a statue of their first choice an' be immortalised beyond the feline/canine lifespan norm.

If it is really desperate out there, they would prolly be OK makin' out as stone beetles or worms, cos those creatures do not offer any kinda long term options.
