While they're fixing things, how about make these buttons actually work (screenshot below).

The new design has nothing to do with a forum, I'm not interested yet the buttons do absolutely nothing on next login. I click NO & they don't save the settings.

  • Long as we steer clear of floggin' issues, we are gonna be OK.

But, yeah, I have found things sluggish, an' I blooped out on a double post yesterday.

    Seems OK now.

I can login OK [firefox] but it asks me everytime now.
    Very tedious.
    Normally a login lasted years.

This exactly for me. Firefox and all. I noticed at the far left hand corner of my browser there is a shield and a little globe, If you hover your mouse over them, it gives you information like the shield says it's blocking tracking and the little globe says "this website does not supply identity information".

I've been checking those two little icons everywhere I go and the little earth tells me some parts of the site are unsecured and when that is the case, I can't go anywhere on that sight. The little circle just spins and spins on that particular site.

      I find it very frustrating.

Me too. It's making me login and choose the new or classic every time. I choose to make classic as my default, but I come back and have to login again. It's been going on for over a week or so now. I've only tried in Firefox, though.

I don't log off. I was probably logged in for months before I had to log off to see the threads during my "vacation to camp."

Today I was prompted to log in. I had the same hot minute myself this morning. lol

Nothing to take a screen shot of. When you click the login link - nothing happens.

I've been having login issues for several days. Either I sit waiting for for seems like for ever, or, because it's going on for so long, the site just seems to give up with nothing at all happening and I have to start all over again.

It took me SIX attempts before my login eventually held for this session. I was on the point of giving up.

I dejunked my laptop today and so I had to re-enter my password - that's normal. But then when I opened another window or clicked on a link from an email I had to login again. That happened twice, I think, after the initial necessary login.

After that no problems. Using latest FF.

Had the same problem all day - don't know 'screenshot' you'd want.

I'm usually always logged in - but WF keeps logging me out today when I close the window.

I know my password - but it doesn't always work now. Three attempts and the page informs me its "locked for 15 minutes".

The last two times I've been able to get in on the second try - but the login procedure isn't right - it does not acknowledge me.. but if I refresh it then show me as 'logged in".

FYI, in IE the NAV bar is too wide and there is no sideways scroll to compensate.

You got it. I don't always have it on, and sometimes it looks like I do when I'm not around just because I left my computer on. I say that in case you try to message me and I don't reply - means my computer is there but I'm not. Some would say I'm not all there all the time, but that's just a lucky guess.

Only issue I have is 10+ on the bell won't go away. Are you sure you want to revert to classic? But are you really, really sure?

Too many people playing with toys (phones, tablets, etc.) think the world now needs changing, so they hire a bunch of rad undergrads... the rest is history.

Everything is bigger and takes up more space these days! I've seen it on Namecheap, Paypal, and now here on WF... so what gives?

Why does everybody think they need to spend money to fix something that isn't broke.

If I need a better user experience, I certainly don't expect it to come from the internet. Leave it alone, cause you're making my user experience far worse than I ever dreamed.

I don't know what gives, but sure glad I don't spend a lot of time now on any of them... too much time to scroll is simply not worth my time, imo.

Everything has gotten so mobile friendly that there's almost nothing left that's desktop/laptop friendly.

Soon I'll have to purchase a 55" 4k resolution flat-screen to see everything, just so I don't have to scroll.

Ohhhh, mmyyy. I think I've found something:
Oh, my... we're being mobbed by mobiles...

Even that is probably misleading. I'll often have the WF open in a tab but I'm doing something else in another tab, or in another browser, or in another software program. I simply don't bother closing the tab it's in. I doubt if I'm the only one who does that.

I've got that too, but since I don't use it, it doesn't affect me and it's easy to ignore. The login problem is a whole 'nother story.

Two people control 87% of the available shares. Not exactly a "widely held" stock. Plus they only look at company wide figures, not just the WF.

If I was one of two people owning the lion's share of the company, and a newly acquired property (costing 7 figures to acquire) went from 200K logged on users to under 10K in the span of a single year... I'd be PISSED as hell, and you can be damn sure I'd be doing something about it.

I failed to make clear that it's the other 13% of shareholders that would be looking at the company wide numbers, rather than each component.

Nothing to apologize about. I had no idea it was only two people who owned so much of the company. Which makes it so much more surprising that they're letting this potentially great resource self-destruct so spectacularly.

Oh, it's not happening all by itself. They've been working very hard for months (years, now?) to make all these changes so as to ensure its collapse.

I don't know. Tax deductions must work differently in Australia, or something. I've never seen any entity work so hard to drive itself into the ground.

Now when I click in from an email, I have to log in twice before the site will let me do anything as "me".

Hey, I have a swell idea: Roll the software back to the point where it was working correctly, and then test the new stuff thoroughly on your internal people, rather than on your paying customers. (And yes, I did pay to be here.)

They've screwed up a lot of little things on the site.

If you use the advanced search it doesn't highlight the thread titles correctly (new replies) like it did a month ago.

Logging into the forum always redirects to the Feed (blah) regardless how many times you click the No thanks button.

That whole Feed page banner is useless, even the Contact Us for feedback link is an email which triggers Outlook instead of a contact form (Thank you 1997).

I had to "login" three times today.

The first two times, it said I logged in successfully, but once I'm on the forum page... not actually logged in.

Third time was the charm, and I can now post.

And to add... Until a few days ago, I was ALWAYS logged in. Now I'm automatically logged out daily. Sometimes more than once a day.

Still having difficulties here, too. It seems it should be resolved by now.

I do wonder if it's a security thing or Windows 7 or IE browser thing, for me, because
some other websites I go to also have a funky log in thing happening. (But those sites
have shopping carts and my account info.)

Are you stalking me again, Princess? That swings a little bit too close to home. I don't dare post a direct link, as that would earn me an insta-ban, but anyone interested can search for "Taming Tessa" (or my own name, for that matter) on Audible. It's no wonder people are leaving. I joined the WarRoom back when LifeTime Membership was $37!
And they advertise the WarRoom as the one-all be-all place to be, and for the most part it is.

But now WF is charging $97 for one year! It's no wonder people are leaving.

And now with all of this programming mess going on... WoW!

And some of the stuff being advertised on here is pitiful!
But there's some good stuff still left in the WarRoom.

Haven't seen anything that good that it was moved to the WR in a while though, so gave up looking.

The PM count (top/right nav) only shows on the Feed page but when you click the PM link on the Feed page it takes you to the forum PMs.

Meanwhile the forum PM count no longer exist. It's ass backwards.

What's also sad here is that, in addition to the technical side of the problem(s), we've had two different moderators chime in (on March 3) to indicate that this was in fact the correct thread to post said concerns, and yet, two weeks later, we haven't heard back from either of them, or anyone else, even to say something as simple as, "Sorry; we're still working on it".

Identical problem when I reported a rather severe problem, where the WF site was blasting literally thousands of emails to some of us lucky members. The official response was similarly tone-deaf about not even apologizing for the problem in any fashion. (The response was even heavily edited from its original version, so I know for a fact that at least a second pair of eyes had read it and suggested significant changes.)

Simple customer service courtesy 101, people! It doesn't even cost management anything extra.

After a quick login early yesterday, I was unable to login to the WF for the remainder of the day. I just kept getting a 504 error.

Also, these days I never get popup notifications of PMs and no number appears over the envelope icon. These days I have to check the folder manually.

Just so you admins know - I haven't been able to log in all day.

Getting logged in just now took more then 10 tries before it stuck
and I had to do it by trying to respond to a post.

Clicking login on the main area does nothing. - IE, WF and FF

I can only imagine how many people are just walking away because of
    this issue.

Look, I have friends here, actual friends that I have known for 10-15 years
and today I almost said screw it.

If I am thinking that (and I have a reason to want to be a member) then you
have to ask yourself how many new people are just abandoning this place
simply because how difficult it is to participate.

Less participation = less traffic, less traffic = less sales for the warrior forum...
    it's simple math guys.

This issue needs to be fixed before it's to late.

    Knock yourselves out.

The whole demise can easily be replicated in the 8020curve calculator from Perry Marshall.

    80/20 Curve

I guess when there were 200K members logged in the offline, copywriting and off topic forum held the balance of the available gene pool of the forum.

When some of those participants left what are you left with?

Many who are very shallow and a few others who are very deep.

The choice is whether to be deep and engage the remaining sapient individuals whilst trying to foster the neophytes or to leave due to the disgust of the way things have unfolded.

Bit like the way society has gone in general.

Hope this community either finds a new home or renovates the old one soon to build something better.

Oh, Ozi, you gotta know that remark is waaay too pessimistic.

Far as WF goes, gotta figure I wandered into a zombie apocalypse jus' as the buildup of pus prevented mosta the undead hordes from movin' around an' wreakin' their trademark brain-free havoc, but I do not believe everthin' gonna be washed away in a sea of yellow.

Yes, can't log in on the WF, anymore, the "Submit button, (or whatever it is called) freezes, and it freezes on the FF browser as well as the IE browser.

I have to log in by using a test page, or the page with my smileys on it, works every time, but l have to log on every fr***kin day, groan.

But now WF is charging $97 for one year! It's no wonder people are leaving.

And now with all of this programming mess going on... WoW!

And some of the stuff being advertised on here is pitiful!
But there's some good stuff still left in the WarRoom.

Haven't seen anything that good that it was moved to the WR in a while though, so gave up looking.

          http://www.warriorforum.com/attachme...chmentid=23909
When l signed up to the Raw Room, a few years ago, it was ok, but most of the free stuff, was more for newbies than anyone else.

I suppose that l should risk it and take another peek?

Well, Freelance did buy a forum before this one, a IM forum to be exact, and it no longer exists!

          Or it wasn't managed effectively.

Not what we want to hear.

The WF OT, has pretty much lost most of the genii individuals, who want a level discussion about controversial subjects, so have left. Or are still here, but will stay clear of said discussions.

The mods don't run this part of the forum anymore, which only speeds up the detioration.

But if some, want a shrinking forum, to express their brand of limited interests, then fair enough.

The WF OT should be named WTF, and the "T" isn't' for The!

I certainly hope that the owners game plan isn't buy, let it run down, and then buy again for some stock market gains?

It would be a shame to see a once great forum, disappear, or become a banner site, overrun with Trolls and Spammers?

Hopefully they will sell before then?

Yep, Dennis set up a test page, and use that to log in, then refresh your WF OT page, it should automatically log you in.

I hate to say it but it's not far from that now in its present form.

Hopefully they will sell before then?
I think it would be far more profitable to fix what has been done or in some cases not done.

2 years ago the forum was much more vibrant than it is today. It was worth something. It, since, then has decreased in value even while adding members and making previously unknown money due to marketing efforts (emails, stickies, outside advertising) in my opinion. Of course, I'm not privy to the books and they could be very happy with the way things are going.

Finally - after about 10 days, I am able to login !!

I'm getting bored with having to log in multiple times, as well. I didn't log out yesterday, and today, I find that I am logged out, again. Never used to happen. I know that's been mentioned a lot.

I am also tired of the lag. Anytime I clean my computer of cookies and such, I expect to log in again...sure. However, when I try and switch between either a new category (forum) or even just a new thread, my computer takes forever to load what I just clicked on! It ONLY happens here. I have to reload tab, sometimes several times.

I'm with David and "why haven't ANY mods come back to address these issues? At least let members know that they hear us!

    Hi,
I initially published this in the "Suggestions Forum", but since the Suggestions Forum doesn't seem to be read by anyone, somebody suggested (no pun intended) that I post it here. So here it is:

    ****

I receive an email that there's been a response to a thread I'm following/being active in, in the War-Room.

I click on the link. That takes me to a SALES PAGE to become a War-Room member. NO LOGIN LINK in that page. No link to the main login page either. But I AM a member of the War-Room.

So I go to the URL, edit it to go to the main Warrior Forum page, from there, click on the login button, and I login. BUT, of course, I'm not in the War-Room, I'm not on the thread I was trying to see.

So, back to my email, where I click again on the link, thinking, this time, I'm logged in, I'll get in. Well NO. I'm taken again to a fricken SALES PAGE for the War-room, although I'm logged in alread.

If I want to get to the message, I need to go back to my email, figure out what thread it is, go to the War-Room and FIND THE F*INK THREAD.

So instead, I look for the suggestion thread and try to post. Well, guess what, I am AGAIN asked to login. REALLY?

REALLY? Yes. Your main page login is apparently a fake, because now that I have logged in a second time to post here, NOW I can get from the email to the thread I was looking for.

I mean, EVERY OTHER WEBSITE makes that easy for their members/clients. Why don't YOU???????

Why is it that this site has become STUPID now that Freelance bought it?

Why can't you leave us alone and stop FORCING us to your stupid billboard? You are only aggravating us! That is the complete OPPOSITE of good online marketing!

    Please:
Put a LOGIN LINK for existing members on your sales pages, and MAKE SURE that on login we do access the page we were trying to reach but couldn' because you FORCED a logout on us.

Am I the only Warrior aggravated by this? If not, Please you folks, comment on this or create similar posts so that Freelance starts being GOOD TO THEIR MEMBERS.

No you are not the only one annoyed by this, the countless post here and in the suggestion forum seem to back up your aggaravation. It does not pay to login all the time and some members have just given up. Hate to say this but it is their forum and like a big corporate entity, they seem slow to listen or just don't care. It is their sandbox so it is what it is.

After posting how it had taken 14 attempts to actually achieve a login a week or so ago, I wrote and complained to customer service. Probably within 24 hours I was able to login, first attempt each time with no issues.

Often the site runs incredibly slowly, taking ages for various clicks on navigation etc to actually complete, but now at least I can log in

If they cared they would fix the problem and this thread would be done, locked, move on...

Instead, some random mod will post in 3 months like it's a new problem & they have a team working on it ASAP (lol, team).
