Hi, I just got a thread deleted that was very interesting.
Because I was stupid and did not read the sig rules. "STUPID"

Anyway so I was wondering if I'm allowed to put my affiliate link in a post I write?

I could not find anything in the faq I have searched

No, you can only link to site that belongs to you.

Technically, I believe you are supposed to also add another link without your affiliate ID, so the reader has a choice.

Technically, but what are the rules, sorry to ask but I really don't want to get kicked out of the forum for a misunderstanding.

So nobody is 100% sure how this works? I cannot be the only one to wonder how this is. Or?

No, you are not supposed to put affiliate links ANYWHERE other than the classified ads. This is not an advertising forum and if it were allowed to post affiliate links we'd never see anything but spam.

    Hey - Sal

Well I understand, but lets say I would wrtie about a website, RevTwt and tell people that I have just got paid and how it works, then "Technically" I would be allowed to put a link to the site, one aff link and one without. Like kurt said.

Thanks for your answers all I just want to be sure!

Haha, well I better not take any chances.

thanks all for the help, but I really think that a mod should add this to the rules so it is clear.
