The Americans
For those who don't know about it, or haven't seen it, it follows the exploits of a couple of KGB agents in Reagan era America.
It is brilliantly acted and scripted and is well worth a watch.
The best part of it is it doesn't try and moralise. It doesn't portray the KGB agents as either goodies or baddies, just people doing their job. Similarly it doesn't portray their FBI counterparts as either goodies or baddies, just people doing their jobs.
Well, so far anyway. I'm still on Season 1 and it may change dynamics in later episodes or seasons to portray either the KGB or the FBI as goodies/baddies.
In the meantime, it's just a brilliantly scripted and performed show.
Anyone else have any thoughts on it?
And please, no spoilers from those who've watched all three seasons and the beginning of S4.
