Not necessarily in a bad way, and it might actually be more of the same.

Every year or two, I find success working for myself online, but eventually lose interest and find work offline that is more fulfilling. Well I just quit my job and have some savings, so I'm diving back in to try and engineer an online business that actually fulfills me.

Anyhow, regarding the change I mentioned... I'm surprised by the number of threads begging for basic help or inquiring as to whether making money online is possible. I don't remember seeing this so often a couple years ago.

Also, I don't remember there being so many threads offering the most rehashed help, that are praised for being super helpful or are portrayed as written by a successful marketer... who joined the forum a month earlier...

All of this makes me feel that it will be much easier than ever before to hit the ground running and make some quick money.

Anyhow, these are just my observations and thoughts and not a criticism of this place.

It's interesting to be back on here. Some of you will remember me, most of you wont. Any old friends feel free to PM me and say hi.

Cheers.

Yip, there has been a huge influx of desperate newbies, some who can't even string 2 sentences together... Coupled with that there has also been a "brain drain" making the forum mostly newbie orientated as you've noticed...

Funny how people who have been away for a few years pickup on it immediately.....

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

The dynamics of "internet marketing" has changed as well.

It's near impossible to game Google now- and that was the premise of many strategies claiming to make you a millionaire in one short year with little to no effort.
