After taking the summer off I've finally parked my bum on my chair to get back down to some internet marketing. lol I feel as though I've come home. (I'm such a sad git). Always said I'd start back at the end of August and here I am

I've learnt a lot over the summer though and the main thing is I'm not going to immerse myself as much as I did previously over the last few years in this IM lark.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, not much point in having lots of money if you're too ill or dead to spend it!

I've discovered that there is a life out there beyond my computer and it's important to maintain a balance.

I've had a wonderful summer (best probably of my life), We bought a caravan and have taken the grandkids all over the East Coast, bought them a pony (teaching them to ride), and best of all I spent some quality time with my mother who died a couple of weeks ago. (I'll always treasure that time).

Don't take your family for granted folks, you might just wake up one morning and they are either grown or gone.

Anyway knuckling down time.

Cheers
Kim

    Welcome back Kim

I'm glad you had a great summer off (though I'm sorry
to hear about your mother's passing).

I agree wholeheartedly with you that there's more to
    life than making money.

Here's to finding that perfect balance in all that you do,

Kim, sorry to hear about your mom. As you know, I just lost mine recently.

I too am taking it much easier and am really enjoying my life now more than
      ever.

Glad to hear that you're going to do the same.

Oh, and good to have you back too. We missed you.

Welcome back, Kim. Sorry to hear about your mother. It sounds like you got to be there with her at the end, and that's very important.

We're glad to see you back!

Hey Kim - nice to see the stalwarts back. Was going to say old, but changed my mind LOL!

Caravans are a great way to get away from it all - we took ours to France again this year. I also took the laptop but my wireless dongle couln't get any signal at all. My wife probably fixed that one :-(

Steve I'm sorry to hear about your mum as well, makes you wake up and smell the coffee doesn't it. Doesn't matter how old you are, it's still pretty devastating when you lose a parent.

One of the main things I've learnt is that if I am staying online I'm going to take a completely different direction. So I'm looking into building my list (what's left of it), and probably going to concentrate on affiliate marketing and maybe do a bit of website flipping.

I bought RAP a while ago, I just need to learn how to use it (sigh)

One of the best decisions I ever made was to get rid of my membership sites and software etc, the work involved was really dragging me down. Especially as I got really busy with my offline job as well.

I'm planning on just working a couple of hours a day on the IM stuff, (see if it pans out as planned)

Yo Kevin (less of the old)!

Aww thanks guys (I really appreciate the good wishes)

lol I'm so used to outsourcing everything I'm having trouble just uploading a few grapics (updating my membership book)

It's obviously also a good idea to get back to basics
