Ok, What Did I Do To Deserve This?

I was cruising the main forum, and I came across someone spamming the forum to advertise some software they selling.

So, I do my duty (as Allen has asked us to), and report this person. Now, I figure, where there is smoke, there's fire. So I click on the person's profile, and sure enough, there was.

So, after reporting several posts (not all, sounds like they wanted to build some street cred before breaking out the spam), I get the following warning:

You made me a mod, I did my job. Where's the love?

Floyd,

You should know that notice is something Paul Myers wrote that appeared in a thread on the main board.

I'm not saying don't heed its' message, I'm just saying that the verbage was not a one-off specifically written about your reporting.

Just like everything else, we all have to get used to some tightening in order to keep the sanity of this refuge intact.
