Your streaming license provider will supply you with one. You are licensed to play copyrighted music, correct?

I got mine at: StreamLicensing.com - Internet Radio Stations

I had a feeling that once the words 'license' and 'legal' were brought up, we'd never hear from this guy, again. lol

There has never been any technology ever DREAMED of that could tell you how many are listening.
GIVE ME A BREAK! It is primarily radio. Even the idea of internet client counters would be worthless. I mean outside of determining the popularity of that particular client for a given channel, for reviews or determining licensing or demographics for advertising in the client, what good would it be?

Why on Earth would you ever say that Steve? A Shoutcast streaming server can tell you the number of current listeners as well as a peak listener count for any specified period.

Have you ever run an Internet radio station?

Don't expect everything you want if you want something for 'free.'
