I use an iMac 21.5 from 2012 retina and a laptop from ASUS. I use this devices for business and personal uses. I use the Retina PC for graphics design and laptop for Business work. This two devices are my life, I couldn't live without this.

What about you? Which devices you use?, & Can you pass a day without them?

maybe around 2006 or 2008 I read one post of yours that was about autoresponders that was actually good. This one is the third post of yours
I read since then, in all the others you lost me after the first 5 words.

At least you're persistently not present to contribute anything here,
kudos to so much of nothing, its worth a mention.

Why do you even show up? Bored? Or just targeting people? Since you target me since a while. Nice going...its against the TOS, you should know that by now.

I have a HP.. a little hint I found out if you go to walmart and you look under the cabinet where they have the laptops displayed, they normally have all laptops in box under there and you can see the price tags on the box. I found mine at a GREAT deal as it was an older model then what they have on display. So always check inside that locked cage.

Got more confused with what most people are using.

Is it because of their prices or their ability to handle complex tasks?

People use many different computers based upon price, features, reputation, past experience, recommendations and many other factors. It is meaningless to consider what other people are using. Would you not want to find the best computer for your daily needs taking all of these factors and many more into consideration?

It's no different than buying a car. What does it matter what someone else is driving? Most people are going to recommend that you follow their lead unless they are really unhappy with their purchase. Everyone wants to think that they are the smartest person in the world (they cant be, because I am), and you get to validate their belief by following them.

I spent $8k on my computer system. Would I ever recommend that anyone follow my lead? Never. Would I ever consider buying anything less than what I have. Absolutely not.

Go to Best Buy. Talk to someone. Look at different machines. Make an informed decision and purchase it where you get the best deal. To hell with what anyone else is using.

      Ridiculous!

I use an Asus ROG that is great because it has such a strong cooling system that it vents out the back.

I also have an older custom Dell Inspiron.

My desktop is 100% custom built and is a tank. Great big Thermaltake box with a 10 inch fan on one side and 5 more fans all around.

Since camera were just mentioned I love the Canon G7X.

Best compact I've ever owned. Leave the bulky DSLR at home and go have fun instead of lugging gear. But, I don't sell my pics, they are just for my sites.

I don't own a G7X but I would if the price was right. Heck, I made my mark back in the early 2000's using a high end bridge camera...a Minolta 7HI with Raw & AdobeRGB (later upgraded to an A1 and A2).

I ended up getting into the Minolta A mount system cameras (sold to Sony), but these days, generally speaking, I only bust out the DSLRs for special events or specific pro or fine art work where shallow DOF and creamy bokeh is a must.

My favorite "pocket" camera I am using now is the Fuji x10 (f2-f2.8) with raw....great manual controls, better than many DSLRs on the market today. Not quite pocket size, but close. It easily fits in cargo pants and shorts so the size is all good with me.

If I need more focal length I have a pocket Lumix DMC-ZS45 (24-480 eq) that I have been using along with a few others. Good controls and control layout but a bit blockier compared to my other pocket rigs.

Other pocket cameras I still own and use are the:

Nikon Coolpix 9600 - great little camera, no full manual though (25-550 eq)

FujiFilm Finepix F500 EXR (24-360 eq) with a good low light mode.

FujiFilm Finepix F550EXR - Same as above but with Raw and full manual controls.

FujiFilm XP50 - waterproof, shockproof, dustproof

Canon Powershot SX400 IS - Plastic superzoom...surprisingly, I have been using this oldish slow boy quite a bit lately with it's 24-720 eq lens @ f3.4-f5.8. Image quality and lens performance is much better than I expected.

I wish I had invested more money into my computer boxes along the way, never did though, had to have good monitors, then it was more lenses, then more bodies, then new servers, then more accessories, then more pocket cameras and superzooms, then printers and...

ASUS has one advantage: they already made motherboards for the big guys
for a very long time. They are the go-to guys of the big brands,

Their recovery tools for notebooks are something i havent seen before

this one notebook i use: i never reinstalled Win,
all the ohers: many times, Many!

      ASUS are real practicality Pro's
and their service, if you really messed up: Really good
even on a tropical island, you walk in - in 10 minutes the guy fixed it

cannot say this about any other brand

laptops do not start typing by themselves, virus attack + intrusive hackers do

My first laptop was an Acer. The screen broke off, just by closing it for a about 6 month. Really superior quality

Phew, l should have come here earlier...

In the process of upgrading my Laptop, from a Toshiba i3, to an i7, or as fast as l can get, without getting into heavy alienware ones.

So far learned that Acer, HP and probably Del are cheap, and won't last as long as a Toshiba, or Acus.

Also learned that Australia has sold out of Toshiba i7's.

So l am waiting for a supplier to order some in.

Probably the main reason they have sold out is at least the model l am looking at is high end, and has Windows 7 still installed with the w10 update, groan.

So people know that w7 is on its way out, and are going for the fastest one available while they still can, since it is a nightmare to pull 10 or 8 off and put 7 back on.

YOu basically have to install a new SSD or HDD, with a w7 fresh install to get around Windows crap, or if 1 tb is what you want a few hundred on top of the retail price.

Also learned that most updates are window dressing and that XP and most likely 7, are well build OS, and don't need a barrage of updates.

I haven't updated XP for more than a year, and it hasn't fallen down in a heap, haven't updated 7 for more than 4 months same thing.

It keeps updating security stuff for Word, but how often does Word, catch a virus!

Yep, get a new Laptop and no more updates, but l will do a image of it, just in case.
