Hey guys, so I get a message from one of my Skype contacts when I log in and it was a link. Not thinking, I clicked it and it brought up some sort of news site for celebrities or something.

The guy updated his status telling people not to click it but of course after I already did...

Is there any recommendations on what I need to do or should I have anything to worry about? As far as my accounts getting hacked into, bank accounts, website log ins, etc?

Here is a screen shot of the link if this helps anybody.... I noticed it had my username at the end of it too.

Honestly, I would just run your favorite malware and virus software to scan your computer. You are probably fine.

It was probably just a lousy way someone was trying to generate traffic to their site.

Never click dubious links, especially those in the form of shortened URL.

You can also change your Skype password, just in case. And like the guy above said, use your malware, spyware tool and your antivirus.
Most likely you have nothing to be afraid of of this episode. Good luck!

Aside that, I don't think there is any issue.

I get that a lot of time and they come back apologising. If they are not people you know well or do business with, I advice you delete them.

Clicking a link never create problem. just never install any software from unknown website, never share things, never get trapped in phishing attacks,
      dont install plugins to browser

    you're doomed!

P.S. skype is obsolete, they all go down at the same time, together, we have better ways of talk right now
