This is also some puzzle I can't get the answer to. I set up my own satellite receiver and I am surprised by the need for the precision of the dish antenna. It moves a little and you can't receive signal. since my dish antenna is mobile, the times I fix its position are many b/c the wind moves it a bit.
Now How in the whole world did the satellite maintain its position? because if it moves just an inch, we can't receive signal. How did the scientists do it? because you know to fix it at some position, you are exerting force on the satellite and it may start moving from that force. (Even if there is no wind there) I couldn't get the answer for this.
This brings me to a conclusion that if something is fixed in the universe, it rests right there unless some force affects it. On the reverse, once an object starts spinning in the universe, it will continue spinning forever. Not sure if that is true.
