I spoke earlier about how a few things could easily be designed to replace hamburger flippers at mcdonalds. The idea would be to do things almost like white castle kind of did, and build around the problem and need, rather than to replace the person, even if the end result were the same.

Well, someone tried to work the OTHER way, and replace the actions of the person, effectively replacing THEM. For about $30,000USD or so, you can get all you need to replace a cook, complete with about 2000 recipes built in. It is effectively like the painters they have for cars now, but they can cook. So yeah, minimum wage jobs are disappearing.

  • It's so unfair, leaving us with only those higher paying jobs.

    What's a mother to do?

    • I realize a lot of people call you "mother", but there's almost always another word that follows...

  • ....dang, someone automated burger delivery

now all we need is some automated eating and swallowing automation,
and the burger from ham problem is solved

mcD lost about 500 franchises the last 12 months, or was it 5000?
anyways, their time is almost up, but they're still expanding in Asia...
  • From mid 2015 thru 2015, McD's closed about 500 UNDER PERFORMING stores around the world. The chain announced at the same time (in 2015) it would open 1000 NEW locations in 2016...so a net gain of 500 restaurants.

I don't eat at McDonalds - but the stock is up this year. Don't understand why it's moved so high - but I can say that about quite a few businesses

  • For about 30k I could pay the same hooker Charlie Sheen did and lock her in the closeth like he did, that would be way more cool.
  • thank goodness i live in the colonies
  • I do like the fact that you can park a mcD burger menu on top of your fridge

leave it untouched for 6 years

and it will look 'brand new - exactly like just bought today'

    in year 7

now that is quality consistency. lol.
