Anyone else here "housebound"?

I was - well, still am pretty much.

We live in a split-foyer (bi-level) house and last year I finally couldn't use the stairs any longer. I was virtually a "prisoner" in my own house, stuck on the upper level after hubs and my grandson moved my office upstairs.

Hubs used his ingenuity, creativity and a few YouTube videos to build me an elevator! It's like a dumbwaiter actually, a lift/cage operated with a heavy duty industrial winch and a remote. It works!

Alas, there are still way too many days (like yesterday and today) when I can barely move around the house without getting dizzy, so I'm "stuck" inside my house.

Good thing I don't mind being a homebody or being alone and I love the computer!

Anyone else out there like me?

Talk about a "handy" man - that's ingenious.

I know in the past we've had members who were house bound or had serious disabilities they coped with. That's the beauty of working online - doesn't matter.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
