  • Hmmm, decisions... decisions lol

For mine the black looks very cool

Your looking to buy one or just window shopping?
  • Ferraris are red .... people expect them to be red.
Alternative colours just do not work very well normally
    across most models.

BUT, that body shape looks very sharp in black, and
shows off the wheels and logos etc much better imho.
Plus there are not many black ones around.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder(driver/owner)
  • red! it's theyre original color
  • Black! - understated - sophisticated -

Red is loud and says the opposite - flashy - a juvenile or mid-life crisis -

I don't know if it is an urban myth or not but 'they' say that red cars are targeted by the police and get more speeding tickets -

I don't know if that is because part of their crisis involves speeding more so than others, or because it just stands out or draws attention to itself.

I love red too and it is also a healthy, vibrant and exciting color - I still would prefer a black car.
  • I've got both, plus a green one and a blue Lamborghini!

Before the begging letters start, I'm just kidding!

    Ray
  • im not a choosy peerson either of the two will do!
  • Ferrari's should be red - classic cars...classic colours! My dad had a red 348gtb many years ago. It was a head turner but not very practical. They're very wide cars and you couldn't leave it many places as people liked to key it! My dad sold it after about 6 months due to the insurance company wanting £15K of upgrades to the garage it was housed!

ps. sorry adeel didn't mean to crash your dream!

    • Go for red, that way you guarantee to get all the ladies attention when you roll by on a nice day. Plus, black is a hard to keep clean.

  • personally I only drive yellow cars... i mean new york cabs.
  • I like black color...If I buy a car I choose black.....
  • If I was going to indulge in that kind of car it wouldn't be stock colors - Hot metalic pink and shoot me if that is totally classless. LOL.

    • If Ferrari ever produced one in hot metallic pink, I will do anything to get it! ethically of course go pink yay!

    • It also depends on how you are trying to compensate for your lack of girth, length, or whatever is making you feel inferior about your prowess.

You know what they say...Big hands, big feet...big gloves, big socks.

I say keep the money in your bank account and let others invest in depreciating assets.

  • Red. If you're going to be obnoxious, be REALLY obnoxious
  • Red is a must for a Ferrari....
  • You have to keep the black clean every day, but you can get away with it on the red. Trust me I know I wouldn't lie to you I'm an internet marketer. lol

Ferrari = Red, thats just how it is, it's ment to attract attention, and we all know the colour red does just that.

  • Neither.

Anyone who has ever owned a Ferarri knows the real story.

Owning a Ferarri is for cocktail party conversations and car shows.

They aren't out of the shop often enough to actually drive.

    • I would go to La Scuderia factory in Maranello. First I would pick the car I like best after some test driving, possibly a Ferrari Formula 1. Then I would have them make me my own colour depending on what results they can get.

I would talk it over with them, I would have them make my own colour and I would make another trip to pick it up.

    • Agree. From a mechanical perspective they are actually crappy cars.

The best you'll probably get out of it is to drive around the block to let your neighbours know you've got one. You'll need a second car to get from "A to B" though.

(Not that driving around the block to show off to your neighbours is necessarily a bad thing of course.:rolleyes
  • Dude, the only correct answer is BOTH. one of each.

Killer Joe- know what you mean there. I know exactly the first 2 sentences out of all my friends mouths' would be:

    1. Sorry about your D*ck, Jack.
    2. Can I drive the car?

  • I have a 430 Spider and a Twin Turboed Gallardo Superleggera. If you are looking to pick up a Ferrari I would strongly advice you to go drive a Lamborghini Gallardo first. 04's can be had in the low 80s. It is a much better car than the 360 all around.
  • Black Ferrari or Red Ferrari... well i"ll get the black one very old school!
  • I like black ferrari.so I'll get the black one.

    Thanks
  • MichaelHiles and whateverpedia do either one of you actually own one? I've put over 15k miles on my 07 430 spider with no major issues.

    • Not of mine. My brother used to work at their authorised service centre. Just repeating what he said. Great for showing off, but as an actual car...
  • Neither.
    Instead get a red Tesla!

    • I would never prefer red over black however,
with a Ferrari it has to be red.

  • Almost all the Ferraris and Lamboghinis seen on Hong Kong streets are taxi yellow at the moment like this one here driven by an English teacher.

Maseratis are invariably silver, and Porsche has almost disappeared off the scene. The fact that Ferraris and Lambos are now seen on the streets all the time probably means that reliability has improved. The big problem is that these cars are sometimes driven by people in their fifties or sixties who just do not look the part.
  • Red if I was ever lucky enough to own one.
  • I would get black it looks cleaner

  • Seriously get a Gallardo and throw some twin turbos on it.

Here is a video of mine. Running on 93 octane in that video at around 1000hp [850 rwhp].

  • I would choose the black ferrari because it will always complement what i'm wearing while im driving my Ferrari
  • Matte Black
  • Classy: go black!
    Flashy: go Red!
  • My Ferrari is black...
  • Not directly related to the question but do the ferrari guys offer a 'My Iron Clad' or 'Like it or Lump it 60 days NO QUESTIONS ASKED money back guarantee??'

    ROFL
  • Everybody has their own opinions half will say black and half will say red. If you really can't decide which colour to choose this is what i ALWAYS do when i can't decide on something, i flip a coin and say heads or tails for whatever it is i am deciding on for example in your case heads = red, tails = black and whichever side the coin lands on i stick to that decision - simple and easy way to decide when you can't decide =)
  • nothing for me. But I'd like to see the red one as it is the original color of the Ferrari
  • i would go with black. But if I could afford to spend the money on a car like that i could afford to just buy both of them!
  • Black. Much more sophisticated.
  • This is a cheaper alternative to owning a Ferrari.

    • Although Ferrari is unaffordable for me yet I "ll love to drive the Red one..
  • Black is probably one of my best colours so I'm going with Black.
  • A MERZ CLS is more of my taste...
  • Black all the way! Red ones just attract cops more, LoL Need to to get a speeding ticket if you dont have to.
  • One of my previous sales managers told me ( we were discussing the merits of buying a Porsche) - " . . .if you are going to buy one, make sure its new . . . anyone can buy a 2nd hand one."

Better get in fast though as you only have a couple of weeks to trade in your 10yr old banger for £2k . . .
  • black ferrari is awesome but many knows that ferrari are red in origin =)
  • If i could afford a ferrari it would have to be black! My friend has a red one which is awesome but id defo prefer black :-)
