Hi guys,

Something different for a change:

When and what was your moment when you changed your life?
As Tony Robbins said, it takes only a moment when it realizes this is it!
Mine happened long time ago....
What was yours?

I think you'll find several moments in anyone who has gone through major change in their lives.

    For me they were:

    1. Picking up some early personal development material my father had in his bookshelf from Jim Rohn, Les Brown and later Tony Robbins that taught me to take control of my life, set my own vision and have the daily discipline to continually improve - this was a MAJOR breakthrough for me

    2. When I reached the day in my career when I chose principle over politics and began to speak my mind, act to get results...this shocked my management team and eventually they saw it as a good thing giving me promotion after promotion and more responsibility. Although another breakthrough was leaving that career (see below), it did teach me that being yourself and following your instincts makes you a more valuable person (even if your bosses don't recognize it at first) AND you sleep a lot better at night knowing you acted in congruence with your thoughts and creativity

    3. When I struck out on my own creating my own products in 1999/2000 - having created tens of Millions of products for other businesses, making the bold move to doing it on my own was one of the scariest, most exciting and most beneficial things I ever did in my life. Having the good fortune to be convinced to create my own products was equally as important - I continue to earn off of content I developed 15-years ago as well as content developed along the way.

Not a day goes by I don't try and learn something new and achieve new life-changing moments, that's what gets me up and motivated each day.

Not a moment but moments, I would say :

    1 - First time I made a sale

2 - First time I hit specific number ( without disclosing numbers )

3 - First time I sold my first startup for a big company

4 - My new startup make its first sale

5 - My startup making the sale that allowed my income to exceed my sales.

6 - Making enough monthly figure to tell I can do this for full time

When my girlfriend at the time broke up with me, due to me constantly being broke. We went out to dinner and for some reason I thought I could manage with the $14.89 in my bank account....

After that I vowed to myself that I'd change, or die trying.

It's a constant battle day in and day out, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yes. Actually the right answer. Every choice sets you on a slightly (or dramatically) different course. And as time goes on, the changes multiply, and the effects multiply.

For example, I chose to go in sales, even though I was socially awkward at 21. My Father wanted me to be a machinist at the Ford Motor Company. Had I decided to follow his advice, I'd be a completely different person now..living an unrecognizable life.

Had I married a different woman the first time, or the second time...my life would be different in untold ways.

You can change the direction of your life...at any time. Even now, if you like.........

  • As far as becomming an online entrepreneur and understanding money and money management there was two moments.

1.When I received my first YouTube payment from Google Adsense. It was like a eureka moment - the doubt was gone! It was possible to make money online without crazy ninja skills. Everyone around me had claimed it was just an illusion and that you had to have a proper business certificate and a webshop location with crazy inventory in stock to earn any money online.

    2. I started watching Robert Kiyosaki videos and ebooks about how to make your money work for you, not against you. Then adding in awesome books from David Bach about taking smart financial choices in everyday life and pushing your options to the max. Tony Robbins new book about investing and index funds are also excellent in this regard.

When I realized everything in the world is a lie. Like we're totally brainwashed from birth. We actually been programmed to think inside a limited framework of thinking. Like it's just really sad. But you can eventually pop out of the bubble if you're lucky or unlucky. An easier life is actually not knowing. Just staying in the matrix. But then your stupid, your a robot, your a slave. But I guess that's life for you. Just go on living the lie you've been programmed to follow. The life you know right now, it's easier that way. But no, everything is a lie. It's just sad. But then you pop out and now you're screwed, cuz you can't go back.

P.S. It's not ALL a lie, you have to go

    deeper underground of what exactly
connects us all. You will be surprised
    by what you will find.

    IT all makes sense eventually!

Not to sound melodramatic, but for me it was when my Dad passed away in 2014. I had just started my media company in Sacramento when I got a call that my Dad was missing. The boyfriend and I headed up to Idaho (where he lived) to help with the search. My boyfriend was still working at his job at the time, and I remember the whole time we were there his mom would call and badger him about how much longer we were going to be up there and how he had to be careful because he might lose his job if he stays too long. I remember thinking at that moment of how glad I was that I didn't have to worry about any of that since I had created a business that was taken care of by my business partner and independent contractor's while I was away focusing on the more important things in my life. It gave me a sense of freedom that I took for granted until that point and vowed to myself in that moment to do whatever it took to never give up that freedom.

There were many moments that had a big impact on my life. I'll name a few that had an impact on my marketing / entrepreneur side:

    1. First sale: It felt great that someone wanted something I made, and was willing to prove it by giving me money for it.

    2. Realizing that you can't please everyone: When resolving some issues at an old company of mine, sometimes there was no correct way out of a situation. No matter what I did, someone would be unhappy. At times like that, it's nice to have core values and morals to help you guide your decision.

    3. Realizing that a company does not have to do everything right: there's just too much to do. Concentrating on doing three things phenomenally. Blow these out of the water and some people will actually love your company and be very willing to overlook areas you fall short.
