Left handed mouse - Lord help me!!!

I am being forced to start mousing with my left hand for a while and it is driving me insane! I've cut stuff that should have been copied and selected stuff and deleted things and I'm about ready to jump off a bridge!!!!!!

Anyone else ever have to do this? How did you survive? I'm in the middle of a launch and so this is THE worst time to have to deal with this.

Okay, rant over. For now.

Any ideas?

Mark, I'm left-handed and the thought makes me vomit in my mouth a little.

Can you go into the driver or something and reverse the button controls?

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

Yes, l do fonts, and that tends to put a strain on my right hand or wrist, so l occasionally do forums and emails with my left hand.

it is a nightmare initially but it gets easier over time, but if you don't let your mind get in the way, and just use your left hand, (like you do with other things) then it is easier.

PS, if l had to write with my left, it would be pre-school from hell, but browsing, etc isn't that hard.

I'm actually using the same mouse as before but I did switch the buttons in the Windows control panel. So the left index finger now has the same function as the right one did - just opposite.

I swear I'm a total spazz with this thing. It's only been 24 hours but if it doesn't get better I may just start using my nose - I think that would be as efficient. I started practicing with the built-in speech recognition features and that went pretty well but I gave up on it soon just because whether efficient or not I've got to get stuff done and it was taking too long.

Funny - I was just talking about Jimi Hendrix yesterday with someone.

I decided to switch back to the right hand until I get to where I need to be on this project. So no more left handed mouse problems. Now, it's just dealing with the pain and agony of using the right hand again. I think that pain is more acceptable than trying to use my left hand though.

Okay, nothing to see here. Move along. Problem solved.

I use the right hand normally. However, after having RSI in high school 30+ years ago, I have developed my left hand's abilities. I leave the mouse and simply adjust the way I hold it. I type with both hands but sometimes only the left and then it's incredibly slow.
