My 500th Post on WF
I also don't want to sound pathetic, but this number of posts made me ask some simple questions. Did I make WF be a better place with my posts? What am I doing and/or achieving here? I think that I annoyed quite a few people at the beginning. I am ashamed of that and feel bad about it. I feel great about being able to "confess" here. It's just like WF has become a sanctuary where I can hide, regroup, and regenerate after a lovely day with boring projects and demanding clients.
What I plan to do with my next 500 posts on WF? I think deep inside I would like to find a thread or comment that could change my current game. You know, light the bulb in your head so I can share a success story with my 1,000th post. Like this forum helped me achieve this. At the same time, I would like to hear that some warrior decided something to do or change based on my thread or comment. That would be great. Right? It's too much to say that you've changed someone's life, but to contribute even with a small detail, that's really something.
Also, I don't know what's the proper word to use. I'm privileged, lucky, honored, or something else to witness some historic moments on WF. Guess, I missed the history classes on WF, so I can tell you what happened a couple of years ago, or at the very beginning. But, what I see now is a process where WF changes and redefines itself. Warriors are extremely passionate about their forum. I think this is a great thing. Emotions are the fuel for all the things around us, no matter how sophisticated and complex they may be in their strict technological nature.
So, until my 1,000th post, I wish to my WF to have at least 100,000 new warriors and a million of new and great life-changing ideas. I have always wondered if this song was in the heads of WF creators when they were thinking how to name it. For what is worth, when I think about WF, I just can't avoid this movie and this song. Cheers!
